Georgi Prokopets was born on 2 January 1922 in Krasnodar, RSFSR [now Russia]. He was a production designer and art director, known for Lita molodiyi (1959), Kogda payut solovy (1957) and Mesyats may (1965). He died on 12 May 2001 in Kiev, Ukraine.
