Julie Ryan is an Australian film producer who's achievements include H is for Happiness, which received a Special Mention by the Children's Jury, Generation Kplus Berlin International Film Festival 2020, and won the prestigious 2019 Cinefest Oz Film Prize. Previously she produced Hotel Mumbai which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival 2018 and went on to be the most successful Australian film to release internationally in 2019. Her other major achievements include Ten Canoes, the Un Certain Regard Special Jury Prize winner at the Cannes International Film Festival 2006, and Australian box office smash hit in 2011 Red Dog.
Julie has received 8 Best Film nominations at the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards (AACTA) awards over her 20 plus career including a Best Film nomination for H is for Happiness in 2020 and Hotel Mumbai in 2019, and won for Ten Canoes in 2006 and Red Dog in 2011.
