- His character from Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace, Eeth Koth, was originally supposed to appear in all three prequels. Shapi was cast because he lived in England, where Episode I was shot. Episode II and Episode III were shot in Australia, which meant different extras were chosen. Shapi was therefore succeeded in the role by Tux Akindoyeni, who wore the same costume and make-up. However, it was decided that Akindoyeni looked different enough to be credited as a different character, so Eeth Koth was therefore renamed Agen Kolar.
- He was not involved in the production of Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones. His only scene is in the Jedi Council chamber, which is actually re-used footage from Episode I.
