Strikingly buxom and shapely brunette knockout Sydnee Steele was born
Amy Jaynes on 9/23/68 in Dallas, TX. The daughter of a
college professor, she was a very shy and introverted child. She worked as a financial officer at a yacht company in Texas and as a
jewelry saleswoman in a Dallas shopping mall. It was while at
this job she met
Michael Raven, who at the time was
a car salesman but later became a noted porn filmmaker. She and
Raven got married, discovered a common interest in hardcore movies and
swinging, and moved to Los Angeles, CA, to pursue careers in the
adult film industry. Sydnee first became involved in the adult
entertainment business through her friend A.J. Cromwell, who was the
owner and publisher of the Texas adult entertainment listings guide
"Sundown". She subsequently met adult film director
Brad Armstrong at a Gentleman's
Expo and acted in her first big hardcore feature for him. She
went on to work for such major companies as Vivid, VCA Pictures,
Sin City, Elegant Angel, and New Sensations prior to signing an
exclusive contract with Wicked Pictures in 2001. She won AVN Awards
for both Best All-Girl Sex Scene--Video and Best Couples Sex Scene--Film in 2001, Best Actress--Video in 2002, and Best Supporting Actress--Video in 2003. She was inducted into the AVN Hall of
Fame in 2007.
She also wrote the monthly column "The Steele Factor" for AVN from 2002-04 as well as penning several articles for both AVN Online and "Club" magazine. She then studied with Dr. Patti Britton so she could become a certified Pranic instructor and sex coach. In 2006 she co-wrote the instructional book "Seducing Your Woman" with hypnotherapist Luke Smith.
