Gabriela Correa is a Brazilian film, TV and theatre actress. Born in Brasília on October 12th 1991, Gabriela started her acting training in mid school while a teenager and has worked in theatre since then. She graduated in Journalism at University of Brasília in 2014, but never quite worked professionally as a journalist. Since graduation, she has been fully committed to her acting career, participating in over 9 theatrical productions. As a singing artist, she performed in musicals like 'Eu Vou Tirar Você Deste Lugar', directed by Sergio Maggio (a musical theater project based on the work of Brazilian singer Odair José), 'L - the musical' (Maggio) and 'Os Saltimbancos', directed by Hugo Rodas in his theater group ATA. Meanwhile, the actress made her way into cinema working on small local productions. So far, she has worked in seven short films and the most recent ones are Casa de Praia (2018), directed by Duda Affonso, Paredes Clandestinas (2018), by Ana Carolina Nicolau and Andromeda, by Lucas Gesser. In 2015, Gabriela was cast in the long feature Campus Santo, by the late director Marcio Curi; and in 2019, she worked on the films 'Infinitas Terras', by Cauê Brandão and 'Cisterna', by Cristiano Vieira. In 2020, Gabriela was cast in other two projects. 'O Pastor e o Guerrilheiro', José Eduardo Belmonte's new feature film and 'Amado', by Eduardo Felistoque.
