Songwriter ("Mockin' Bird Hill", "Choo Choo Ch'Boogie"), composer,
singer and author, educated at Pennsylvania State College. He was a
country-and-western entertainer, and made many radio appearances, later
producing and directing records. Joining ASCAP in 1945, his other
