Michael Rathgeber is a Camera Operator with many years of experience throughout the film industry. He has a versatile skill set of operating a wide range of systems including Steadicam, Cyclo, Gimbals like DJI Ronin 2/4D/RS3, Handheld, Dolly and Remoteheads. Michael grew up in the southern part of Germany and was interested in movies from an early age. He started out at ARRI Headquarters in Munich and subsequently worked for 6 years as Clapper/Loader and 2nd AC then for about 10 years as 1st AC. In 2013 he started his transition to Camera Operator. He is an active-member in the Society of Camera Operators (SOC) as well as a full member in the Association of Camera Operators (ACO).
