Though we have very little to go on, legendary director Sir Ridley Scott has revealed that he is developing a new Alien movie for 20th Century Studios.

Details are pretty much non-existent right now, but THR's report indicates that this will be a completely separate project to the Alien: Romulus sequel that's currently in the works.

Rain was also a stripper who was convinced by her colleague at the strip club to enhance her body with minor surgical procedures. Rain went ahead with the procedure. Kimmie found her unconscious in her room and moved her to a nearby hospital.

When Alien: Romulus hit multiplex screens this summer, it raised a handful of questions. Some of the more burning queries included: “Who is the father of Kay’s baby?” (to which the answer is resoundingly grim), “Is Rain’s dream home of Yvaga all it’s cracked up to be?” and “Who, of sound body & mind, would rubber stamp that ghoulish deepfake of Ian Holm?”

The Tyler Perry universe continues to expand, and this time we got a whole 16-episode TV show that has been split into two parts (don’t know why they didn’t just call it 2 seasons). Part 1 was released on the 24th of October 2024, and part 2 is set to release in the spring of 2025. Beauty in Black tells the story of a stripper named Kimmie and a rich woman named Mallory. The two women have completely separate lives until they get embroiled in the same drama because of one rich family. Mallory is married into this family, and Kimmie works in one of their illegal businesses. There’s a lot to unpack in this show as each major character has some sort of arc that’s explored throughout the whole thing. I feel like nobody’s really a supporting character, because everybody’s got something important to do in the next part.

Beauty in Black, the 2024 drama series on Netflix written, directed, and produced by Tyler Perry, very strongly bears the characteristics that are usually present in his works. While that would be great if you are a dedicated fan of his works, it is not good news for the general audience since Beauty in Black has you spend almost eight hours with outlandish and shallow characters, and a plot that is equally superficial and uninteresting. The series follows a young woman named Kimmie who is stuck in the adult entertainment industry despite wanting to quit for a long time and her sudden involvement with the billionaire family controlling almost every aspect of the neighborhood in Atlanta that she lives in. 20th Century Studios has confirmed (via SFFGazette.com) that Alien: Romulus will be released on Digital on October 15 and on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD on December 3.

The movie, which has so far grossed over $340 million at the worldwide box office, is "Certified Fresh" on Rotten Tomatoes at 80% and won the approval of fans who had all but given up on the franchise after Ridley Scott's divisive prequels.

The home entertainment release will include all-new exclusive bonus features, including featurettes with filmmakers Fede Alvarez and Scott, behind-the-scenes content, and alternate and extended scenes. The 4K Uhd will be available in a collectable limited edition SteelBook with custom artwork and packaging.

The original 1979 sci-fi thriller, Alien, is celebrating its 45th anniversary this year and a 2-Movie Collection digital bundle (Alien & Alien: Romulus) will also be available on October 15 in 4K Uhd, HD and Sd.

Ridley Scott's "Alien" requires no introduction, having injected new life into the sci-fi space horror genre that aggressively centers on an otherworldly species with an ever-evolving lore.
