Jason Day-Del Solar can next be seen starring in the Movistar+/ Telemundo/ Peacock limited series El Inmortal. He has starred in the Telemundo/ Netflix limited series Jugar con Fuego (Playing With Fire), as well as starring in RCN/ Vista Spanish Language series Revenge, based on the hit ABC American series, and in FOX Latin America's 2091.
He is known to American audiences for his starring role opposite Elsa Pataky in the independent film Mancora, directed by Ricardo de Montreuil. The film was nominated for a Grand Jury Prize at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival. Day also starred opposite Lee Pace, Justin Kirk, Jennifer Tilly and Thomas Sadoski in the independent film 30 Beats. His first starring role was in the Peruvian independent film Manana Te Cuento, when he was only 17. The film was a huge box office hit and rapidly catapulted him into being one of the most promising Peruvian actors of his generation.
He also starred on TV in Latin America in the hit series Esta Sociedad (Seasons 1 & 2), La Tayson Corazon Rebelde, El Capo 2 for Fox and RCN and in Decisions: Some Win and Others Lose for Telemundo.
As a humanitarian activist, he has participated in great efforts to help improve the quality of life of people in his home country, Peru, through various initiatives with global NGOs such as Save the Children, UNICEF, V-Day, Operation Smile, Amnesty International and others. He was also a weekly columnist for a national newspaper for three years and has had an active voice in the complex social and political reality of his country.
