Michael Pollan was born in Long Island, New York, USA. He is producer and narrator of the documentary How to Change Your Mind (2022), also known as a producer and writer for Cooked (2016), Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret (2014) and In Defense of Food (2015). He has been married to Judith Belzer since September 6, 1987. They have one child.
