Tom Wardach was born in Philadelphia and attended Temple University receiving a Bachelor's degree in Political Science with a minor in Pre-Law. He decided against law school and a recruitment opportunity by the CIA but rather, he entered the world of politics. He served as an elected politician for four consecutive terms (eight years) in Philadelphia. Disillusioned with politics, Tom went back to school for computer programming and eventually changed course to join the corporate world as an Information Systems professional. After doing very well in the corporate world, Tom started his own consulting company serving as primary Global Corporate Consultant and CEO.
Finding business success not fulfilling enough, a lifetime desire to be an actor was finally acted upon leading to years of study at The Beverly Hills Playhouse, the Lynette Sheldon Actors Studio and the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York City. Tom was also coached privately in Shakespeare by Lynn Redgrave in New York, received private monologue coaching from Basil Hoffman in Los Angeles, and studied Improvisation with the legendary Gary Austin, founder of the Groundlings in L.A.
His transition into the arts launched a plethora of creativity from which he has written a number of one-act plays, feature length screenplays, and a few short film screenplays. Tom continues to do theatre and film work, while also directing and fine tuning his craft as an actor.
In 2011, Tom created his own production company, Tilted Barn Entertainment to inspire, enlighten, motivate, and of course entertain.
Acting, writing, directing and producing now mark this phase of his life story.
