Julian Flynn is a Cuban-American actor. He played "El Tigre Viamonte" (PUND's pilot) opposite Venezuelan actor Edgar Ramirez in the 2019 international spy film "Wasp Network" by French director Olivier Assayas. Now playing on Netflix.
Born Jose Carlos Perez in Havana, Cuba, at the young age of four, Julian, his parents, and his family immigrated to the United States by way of Spain and eventually settled in Miami and Tampa, Florida.
After graduating high school, Julian served in the 82nd Airborne Division of the United States Army, specializing as an airborne infantry paratrooper. After completing his service with an honorable discharge, he continued his education under the veteran's assistant program. This is when he began to pursue his career as an actor.
Julian's first starring role was playing Nico in the suspenseful noir film "Lying Right Here." It debuted in 2010 at the Sixth Annual Hollyshorts. The film received the Audience Choice Award due to Flynn's outstanding performance.
Julian recently collaborated with Scott Fivelson as a co-producer in a docu-parody, "Near Myth: The Oskar Knight Story." This unique Hollywood story chronicles the life and times of one of our greatest directors. Julian also co-stars in this ensemble piece. The film is slated to be released in the fall of 2024.
