Born and raised on the Canadian prairies, Michael Treder is an author, playwright, and filmmaker best known for the award-winning, French-language short film, Le carnivore (2015) and his anthology literary web series, The Fantasmagori (2017).
For the stage, Michael wrote and directed the one-woman show, 'L'appel du vide', performed by Natasha Perry-Fagant, at the Festival De La Bête Noire in early 2019, and then at the St-Ambroise Montreal FRINGE Festival later that same year.
He currently calls Montreal home, where he can usually be found writing in parks or in poorly lit bars.
