Shane Hart is a successful Actor, Writer, Producer and Casting Director.
Most recently recognised for feature film B.R.I, Mafias Greatest Hits series as Albert Anastasia & Feature Films 'Final Score' & '1603'
Shane was born to the South West of England and developed a keen interest in performing arts in his early years. It is here that Shane finds cherished memories of securing his first audition for a major motion picture.
At 11 years of age Shane was first seen on the stage as an impressionist for a school talent show, also penning and performing his first Western Stage Play as a young teenager for the school stage along with two friends, Shane here finds the first indication of things waiting in his future. There was a long break from entertainment as Shane embraced family life although continued to write many songs and short stories through the years.
Later, he returned to his love of the arts acting and found his first intro to the industry from a casting call to Paramount Pictures Production of World War Z starring Brad Pitt. Although this a background role, Shane here found a taste of something that fulfilled him like nothing else and set his journey upon a quest for more, attending many workshops and seminars, studying of the art of acting using the principals of movement within the teachings of Chekhov. Invaluable experience was gained whilst working on some of the largest film sets in the industry such as World War Z (starring Brad Pitt), Hummingbird (starring Jason Statham), Jack Ryan (starring Kevin Costner, Chris Pine & Kiera Knightly) & Closed Circuit (starring Eric Bana)
Shane has also seen himself involved with BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Sky & Crime & Investigation Channel Productions, working alongside and studying some of the greatest talent of our times. Known to have been a stand in for Mark Hamil on Star Wars and a double for Russell Crowe on The Mummy, this has added to Shane's diverse skill set. His growth within the film industry has seen him evolve from Supporting Artist to Actor through a trail of background, walk on and feature-to principal and lead, both non dialogue and dialogue roles, for Television and Film, Corporate work, short films and music videos.
Things are constantly developing and going from strength to strength with Shane securing roles in feature films such as..1603, Witch, Honeytrap, Made Ordinary & Mafias Greatest Hits series 2 as Albert Anastasia (The High Executioner) Role recently completed as Professor Adams in feature film 'BRI' where Shane was seen to perform as cast and Casting Producer.
Shane has been enjoying the educative experience of working behind the camera as well as in front of it gaining credits as Actor, Writer, Producer, Cinematographer, Assistant Director and Casting Director.
2016 saw Shane take to the Directors chair for productions 'Blame', a film short written by Leila Kotori which has naturally transferred as an award winning series pilot ... also Flawless a Ukrainian / UK collaboration.
