Julian grew up in San Francisco with his fraternal twin brother. He was raised by his mom and dad who separated when he was 11 years old. For two years around the ages of 4-6, his family lived in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, where his dad is originally from. Once returning to the United States, Julian quickly discovered his passion for gymnastics and then his ultimate love of diving. For 6 years, Julian was a nationally-ranked diver until an injury ended his athletic career. For the years in which he couldn't participate in sports, he immersed himself in theatre and screen acting.
He attended summer acting programs at CalArts and NYU Tisch, and obtained his undergraduate degree from the prestigious theatre school at Northwestern University. During his sophomore year, he had his first professional stage debut in Chicago, where he played the leading role for the World Premiere of the play Sycamore at the Raven Theater.
After graduating college in 2019, Julian moved to Los Angeles to begin his career in screen acting. While taking on smaller projects in student films, independent shorts, and commercials, prior to working as a full-time actor in television shows and movies, he worked in marketing for various marketing agencies, as he had also graduated from Northwestern with a minor in Integrated Marketing Communications.
