Rashidat Shittu attended Keiser University for a Bachelors in Business administration in 2002. She has worked various office, retail, and restaurant positions. Even as a small child, Rashidat knew her future was in the arts. She loved to look at fashions, create clothes for her dolls, and writing. As an adult she has branded herself, style, and talents. She took to stage life in 2011 as a performer with Ballet Brika West African Dance Theater as an actor, drummer , dancer. Her 3 year run role as Mmadipetsane, (the little red riding hood of Africa, a tale loved by Nelson Mandela) fueled her desire. She forayed into promotions by hosting local club events, passing out flyers, working on music videos & the like. Rashidat is creator/owner of FYRE which is her brain child. FYRE was created as a way to unlimit herself & freelance all her various skillsets. She is a performer, a writer, & a business woman. As her acting career gets off the ground- she takes on varied roles, and is working in film & theatre both behind the scenes and within the narratives. Her most recent roles to date are Jade Wilson in Confusion a film 2015 * Vampire Bounty Hunter & Sasha in A Slice of Life a film 2015 * Supporting actress/ girlfriend. Behind the scenes she has worked with many directors, musicians, and budding entrepreneurs to mention.
