The Thundermans are returning for even more adventures. Nickelodeon has ordered The Thundermans Return after the success of the reunion movie with the same title earlier this year.

Kira Kosarin, Jack Griffo, and Maya Le Clark will reprise their characters for the new spin-off series, which follows Phoebe, Max, and Chloe as they investigate a new threat in the town of Secret Shores. Other cast members from the original series could also appear in the spin-off.

“The Thundermans” are back — again. Nickelodeon Studios has announced a greenlight for a new spinoff series based on the popular live-action superhero comedy.

The announcement comes after the successful launch of the TV movie “The Thundermans Return,” which premiered on Nickelodeon and Paramount+ in March. The film was the number one entertainment telecast of the year so far in Nielsen’s Live+3 ratings among kids 6-11 and reached 1.6 million viewers across four telecasts its premiere weekend.

The spinoff series will star Kira Kosarin as Phoebe, Jack Griffo as Max, and Maya Le Clark as Chloe. Other original cast members will appear in guest roles. When The Thundermans aired its final episode on Nickelodeon in 2018, it went out the way it came in five years before: as a laugh-track-studded, half-hour comedy about a family of superheroes living in a fictional suburb called Hiddenville. The jokes were plentiful. The vibes were warm. The pet bunny was evil. (More on that in a moment.)

But when the idea of a reunion movie first came up years later, says Kira Kosarin, who played Thunderman teen daughter Phoebe in the original series, things looked and felt a lot different.

From being an advocate against bullying to a rising soccer player, Maya Le Clark already has an impressive resume at a young age. 

Le Clark brings Chloe Thunderman to life in The Thundermans TV series from Nickelodeon and the 2024 reunion movie, The Thundermans' Return. Chloe is the youngest child of Barb and Hank Thunderman and has the power of teleportation. 

Le Clark also played a minor yet key role in The Suicide Squad as the younger version of Daniela Melchior's Ratcatcher-2, as well as a supporting role in Nickelodeon's Knight Squad series.

While Hank (Chris Tallman) and Barb (Rosa Blasi) enjoy their return, and Billy (Diego Velazquez) and Nora look forward to a normal high school life, Max and Phoebe are determined to regain their superhero status. Maya Le Clark also returns as Chloe.
