Most German and Swiss soft-core movies were situated in the Alps. For the Lass jucken, Kumpel movies (6 were made) Franz Marischka went to Unna in North Rhineland/West Phalia. By then it was the heart of the coal mining industry in Germany. The miners often came from Southern Europe, such as Italy, Spain and Greece.
In this episode an Italian miner gets married to a German girl. His family comes over from Italy and stays in the hotel where their son spends his nights. There is something wrong with this hotel, though. Everybody in it becomes horny. And soon everybody has sex with everybody. All these sexual activities are interwoven with German humor. And even for German jokes, they are not subtle at all. The stories from the second world war may be funny to some, but could be offensive to others.
This movie only contains non-explicit sex. Even though porn was becoming increasingly popular by the mid-70's, some German producers still believed in the soft core so popular by the end of the 60's and the beginning of the 70's. Judged by todays standard almost all sex scenes in this movie are hopelessly outdated. This movie can be shown on most TV-channels in Europe without any cutting.
But it is not only the outdated sex and the worn out jokes making this a dreadful film. Most actors can't act or are overacting. The spirits are always jolly and noisy (like in most other sex flicks from the 70's made in Germany). The female cast is not looking too badly, but the male cast is quite ugly indeed.
Still many of these productions were even worst than this one. It has two advantages: part of the the female cast and the high pace (give or take a few scenes).
