Mikhail Trukhin claims that playing Slava Volkov in the hit series "Cops. Broken Streetlights" has changed his life forever. Many viewers so closely associate him with his tough talking character that even some policemen have assumed that he is one of them. Adding insult to injury, Trukhin's son, Yegor, thinks his father lives in the television (he sees him there more often than he does at home). Before "Cops," Trukhin was in "Afghan Breakthrough," but his single episode was only kept in the Italian version. One of his biggest screen roles has been in the film "Cynics." As a child, Trukhin dreamed of being a steamship captain, but when his family moved to Leningrad (St. Petersburg) he fell in love with the theater. He studied acting under Igor Gorbachev and and Venyamin Filshtinsky, and went on to perform with the Lensovet and Liteiny theaters.- Actor
