A worrying new report has emerged that indicates issues could be simmering to the surface due to Kelly’s friendship with Blake’s ex-wife, Miranda Lambert.
Miranda, who was married to Blake for four years, recently appeared on an episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, which seemingly got tongues wagging.
If you’re a fan of the show, you’re well aware that the pair joined forces for a performance of “No Man’s Land,” one of Miranda’s most popular tracks.
The performance aimed to promote Miranda’s forthcoming album, “Postcards From Texas,” but there’s a good chance it did a lot more than that.
According to Life & Style, “Kelly was Team Blake for a long, long time and Gwen, too, by default.”

Du Jie, who had been in the spotlight as a cinematographer for blockbuster commercial films in China such as “No Man’s Land” (2013), “Savage” (2018), and “Moon Man” (2022), emigrated to Japan three years ago where he completed his directorial debut, “The Height of Coconut Trees”. According to the director, the film is inspired by the true story of a friend whose solo travel was mistaken for a suicide, a beautiful yet sorrowful misunderstanding. The dialogue scenes are a reenactment of a talk event that actually took place during the “Sazanami” – a Japan-China contemporary artist relay exhibition (during the Kenji Chiga exhibition). The content of the dialogue and the exhibition images are excerpts from Kenji Chiga’s art book “Hijack Geni” and are based on real events.

The second episode of The Penguin takes us into Arkham Asylum where Sofia Falcone meets with her brother Alberto. However, his finger is missing and he's then shot dead; the whole thing is a hallucination she's suffering during an intense therapy session with psychiatrist Dr. Julian Rish.
Oz, meanwhile, meets with Sal Maroni in prison and is faced with the threat of being exposed. Since Alberto's death, Luca, Carmine's brother, has been named head of the family and Oz plans to steal their Drops and sell them on Sal's behalf.
However, the plan goes wrong and he's forced to be on the truck that's going to be attacked by Sal's men; the villain gets out of the way in time and kills some of his fellow crooks in the process. Sal gets his Drops, though, so it's not all bad.

You’d have to look pretty far and wide to find anyone in music who has been as consistently good or eternally enjoyable as Miranda Lambert. Almost 20 years into her run, she’s defined her career by always going her own way, both musically and lyrically. Her ninth solo set was recorded in her native Texas with help from peers and longtime collaborators like Brent Cobb, Natalie Hemby, and Jack Ingram, and the album’s co-producer Jon Randall. Postcards From Texas doesn’t have as many genre swerves as Lambert sometimes delivers.

Bosnian filmmaker Danis Tanović makes movies all around the world. His 2020 crime thriller The Postcard Killings (2020), starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Famke Janssen, and Cush Jumbo, was shot in Sweden. Triage (2009), which stars Collin Ferrell as a war photographer, shot in Ireland and Spain. He filmed his latest, the comedic drama My Late Summer, in Croatia. But he keeps coming back to Sarajevo.
“It’s the place where I know everybody, where everybody knows me,” Tanović says. “I know every stone of this city.”
Easily Bosnia’s greatest cinema export and to date its only Oscar winner (Tanović’s 2001 debut No Man’s Land, a powerful exploration of the absurdities of war, won the Academy Award for best foreign-language film), Tanović has carved out a unique career by refusing to repeat himself. L’Enfer (2005), his feature follow-up to No Man’s Land, is a family drama adapted from a script by the late Krzysztof Kieślowski and Krzysztof Piesiewicz.

For a richly pedigreed event that is intimately woven into the fabric of its host city, the Sarajevo Film Festival could be forgiven for resting on its laurels and choosing its 30th edition as an opportunity to look back — to reflect on its storied beginnings during the four-year siege that all but reduced the Bosnian capital to rubble in the early-1990s.
Instead, the organizers are introducing sweeping changes that will alter the look and feel of the event moving forward, with the nucleus of festival activities shifting from its historic home in the heart of Sarajevo’s old town to the modern part of the city.
Festival director Jovan Marjanović, who joined the Sarajevo fest two decades ago as a fresh-faced high-school graduate, tells Variety that while this year’s event will certainly pay homage to the past, festival leadership is “fully focused on the future,” adding: “I think...

Kerosene, Lambert’s first major label LP, turns 20 next year, and the Texas songwriter is reflecting on all that led to its 2005 release.
“When I first started, I wanted longevity, a long career and to have relevancy, and be able to play as long as I physically could play,” Lambert tells Rolling Stone. “Luckily, I have...

Every studio wants its own massive cinematic universe. Though many have tried (never forget the Dark Universe), none have managed to be nearly as successful as the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Sony's equivalent, the universe formerly known as Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel Characters (or Spumc), is now four movies deep (with at least two more coming this year). All the movies so far have revolved around supporting characters in the "Spider-Man" comics, mostly villains, but that's about to change this weekend.
The latest entry in Sony's Marvel universe is "Madame Web," the first movie that doesn't center on a villain, but instead, focuses on a hero and ally of Spider-Man. A sign of the downfall of civilization, or just the latest proof of superhero fatigue, "Madame Web" follows Cassandra Webb, a paramedic who discovers she has the spider-like ability to see the future. She takes it upon herself to...

Netflix scored 18 Oscar nominations for its 2023 films, with eight for feature films — the most of any distributor. All told, Netflix had nine nominations in top categories incuding Best Picture, International Film, Animated Feature, acting, and writing categories.
Not that Netflix’s domestic viewers seemed to notice. Since the Oscar nomination announcement January 23, not one nominated film reentered its top 10 most watched film list. Since then, two obscure titles have held the top spot: “The Hill,” a faith-based sports biopic that grossed under $8 million when it was released last summer, and “The Postcard Killings,” a 2020 home video-released European murder mystery directed by Oscar-winning director Denis Tanovic (“No Man’s Land”).
Nominees fared somewhat better in VOD viewing. Led by “Oppenheimer” (Universal), all five Best Picture nominees that are available to view and without a streaming alternative placed on at least one top 10 list.

Two years ago, Souheila Yacoub took a call from an unknown number – and on the other end of line was Denis Villeneuve.
“I was so blacked out thinking how unreal it all was that I didn’t really understand everything that happened,” the actor tells Variety. “All I know is he asked me to read for ‘Dune: Part Two’ and shortly thereafter he offered me the part – and I was trying to stay professional, but on the inside I was crying, ‘This is so surreal!’”
One question the Swiss-born, Paris-based gymnast-turned-actor thought best not to ask was how she found her way onto Villeneuve’s radar to begin with.
“I was so nervous that he’d made mistake – that he was actually thinking of someone else – that I never dared to ask,” she laughs. “So I just signed the contract and showed up on set.”
