This is th best brazilian mini that I watch. Its a beautiful story, including in yours history real characters of history of Brazil, like Assis Chateaubriand, the man that brought the TV to Brazil. The story is basically to commemorate the 450 years of Sao Paulo, showing the political, social and economical situation of Brazil in the decades of 1920,1930,1940 and 1950. She gathers great part of the Brazilian actors' elite. I highlight the moment of crash of New York stock exchange in 1929, in that one of the characters, colonel Totonho, it is forced to commit suicide and the scene in that there is a revolution in 1932.(I apologize for my terrible English).
