This show can be best described as a drama show heavily influenced by David Lynch' Twin Peaks. Like in its American predecessor, the story evolves around a small community in which a terrible happening - in this case the disappearance of a young girl with a Turkish background - has profound effects on its citizens. People start to accuse each other, friendships are ruined, they try to hide their dirty secrets and thus complicate the work of the police.
The plot is like a roller-coaster ride twisting and turning with unexpected bumps on the road. Cleverly crafted as it is, you are always put on the wrong line of thinking and the writers stay one step ahead of you. But they always maintain the emotional depth of the characters. You become involved with these flawed people turning from victims into the guilty ones and sometimes backwards. All is filmed in a decent way, atmospheric and good-looking, with the sea as a kind of ''evil'' side character on the sidelines.
One huge point of complaint is that the outcome of the mystery is a bit ridiculous and over the top. Alas, until that point you can enjoy an intense and gripping story about friendship, love, hate, etc, etc.
