The two initial, separate versions of the film offer its narrator reading English in the foreground, word-for-word, from either the King James Version or the Revised Standard Version of The Holy Bible, both with the actors' voices speaking their dialog in the background at a lower volume and in the local Hebrew, Aramaic, and Eqyptian Coptic languages. There may be a Spanish-narrated version as well, using a Spanish translation of The Bible text.
