Original aired versions had the instrumental theme by Ted Nichols on both the opening and closing credits, but has since been substituted on newer airings and home media by David Mook's familiar lyrical song.

My favorite. A Clue for Scooby-Doo

This was the very first episode I ever watched of Scooby-Doo. It is also my favorite and to me it is the Best of the series. Majority of this episode takes place underwater which is the cool thing. The monster/villain is the Ghost of Captain Cutler who is my favorite of the series. I also love his roar which I like to do at times. While it is one of the creepiest episodes, it is still good enough for a family to enjoy that includes Adults. Like I said it is the best to me and it might be the same to you. Also it is voted to be one of the greatest mysteries in Scooby-Doo history due to it being on a Scooby-Doo DVD, Scooby-Doo's Greatest Mysteries which was my first Scooby-Doo DVD.
