The blonde woman pilot's hair changes from Scandinavian blond to mousy-yellow mid-movie, when she is at her mother's (Cheryl Ladd)'s house.
Brady's coat sleeve has three stripes and Nina's has two. When they're sitting talking to Nina's parents, both Brady and Nina have epaulets with three stripes. On an airline uniform the shoulder stripes match the stripes on the jacket sleeve. To be accurate, Brady, as the captain, should have had four stripes on his sleeve and his shoulder, and Nina, as the first officer (co-pilot) should have three.
Brady is a captain and Nina is a first officer (co-pilot). Brady's uniform coat sleeve has three stripes and Nina's has two. At all airlines in the United States, the captain has four stripes and the first officer three.
Just before the flight is canceled we see the airplane at the gate. The passenger loading bridge is pulled up to the wrong side of the aircraft. The boarding door is always on the captain's (left) side (right as your'e looking toward the airplane through the window), and the cargo is always loaded on the co-pilot's (right) side of the airplane. (For reference, the left and right sides of an aircraft are always labeled from the perspective of facing forward inside the airplane)
The character Nina puts on her blazer towards the end of the movie and she is wearing U.S. Navy wings signifying a Naval Flight Officer (2 crossed anchors behind a shield). Every airline has different wings, but none use U.S. DoD wings.
Near the end Brady receives a call that the airport is opened by tomorrow, yet after like 5 mins Veronica shows up claiming she just arrived by a commercial flight.
