This short film is a Sundance selection for 2008. It's a short film about two sisters--one who is arranging to meet a guy she met on the internet and the other who finds out and follows behind at a distance. It seems the sister is interested in having sex with this guy she really doesn't even know. The other sister seems like a voyeur---there to watch and see what happens.
You might want to be aware that the three stars in this very sexually charged film are older than they appear. However, while Sarah Steele and Adam Scarimbolo are both actually in their twenties, Addison Timlin is 17 years-old and that just seems morally wrong to have an under-aged actress in such a film. While I am sure that her parents gave permission and this was legal, morally it seemed reprehensible to have a child simulating sex in a film. While you don't see any nudity, she has a very intense copulation scene that left me, the father of two teens, pretty disturbed.
Because of the moral implications for me, I just can't recommend the film. Had Timlin been older, then perhaps I could recommend the film. This just seems wrong to me--somebody should be looking out for this child's best interests. Plus, I wonder if some weirdos out there will be perhaps excited by all this....yuck.
