It’s the scariest time of year to hit the “play” button. As Halloween approaches, horror films and TV shows are popping up all over the streaming TV landscape, and we’ve cataloged more than 250 of them below, with premieres marked in bold. Netflix, for starters, is bringing more Unsolved Mysteries and the true-crime film Woman of the Hour, Anna Kendrick’s directorial debut. Hulu has Sarah Paulson in another American horror story, the film Hold Your Breath. Meanwhile, Max is returning to Salem’s Lot, and Peacock is putting one terrifying Teacup on the table. And for the younger set, Disney+ is joining Disney Channel with the debut of the reboot series Wizards Beyond Waverly Place. Cable subscribers can get in on the Halloween fun, too — Freeform goes all out for the holiday with its “31 Nights of Halloween” schedule, so we’re including movies from that lineup, too. The return of a reality TV monster that’s sure to dominate social media conversation; Charlie and Nick’s blossoming romance; a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at the NBA courtesy of LeBron James and Anthony Edwards; the latest gem from an action auteur; Tyler Perry’s first Netflix television drama and another helping espionage and drama from Keri Russell are some of the highlights among the new films and series hitting Netflix in October.
Coming in hot on Oct. 2 is the new season of Netflix’s reality dating show Love Is Blind. The seventh go around for the main franchise — the brand has now expanded into several country-specific versions — will see a fresh batch of singles heading into the pods, hoping to find love and marry their match, all within a worryingly compressed timeline. Fall is here, which means it’s time to bundle up on your couch and stream the weekend away. Let’s get into it: There’s plenty to enjoy in October on Netflix, from a new Ali Wong special to new seasons of shows like “Love Is Blind” and “Unsolved Mysteries.” The real unsolved mystery is how it feels like there is more “Love Is Blind” dropping every month, but I digress.
October also brings with it the chance to watch Season 1 of “Yellowjackets” (a Showtime hit) for the first time on the Netflix platform, as well as more “Outer Banks” and “The Lincoln Lawyer.” The best bet, however, is the return of Keri Russell.
Top Pick: “The Diplomat” Season 2

Megan Fox has received praise for her thoughtful performance in the upcoming sci-fi film “Subservience.” The movie tells the story of Alice, an android character portrayed with nuance by Fox. Director Sk Dale worked closely with Fox on this challenging role, made more difficult by its demanding physical and technical aspects.
In interviews, Dale described Fox’s remarkable memory and ability to learn lines quickly. Fox’s familiarity with Dale from their previous collaboration, 2021’s “Till Death,” helped the actress tackle the intimate scenes in “Subservience” with ease. As an android, Fox minimized blinking and movements to portray the inhuman qualities of her character. Dale utilized post-production effects to further enhance these robotic traits.
The director worked with Fox to push boundaries, especially in scenes showing damage or glitches to the android. Their goal was to craft a believable robotic performance while also allowing Fox to showcase her acting talents.

In Subservience, Megan Fox (Transformers) stars as Alice, a lifelike artificially intelligent android, who has the ability to take care of any family and home. Looking for help with the housework, a struggling father (Michele Morrone) purchases Alice after his wife becomes sick.
However, Alice suddenly becomes self-aware and wants everything her new family has to offer, starting with the affection of her owner...and she’ll kill to get it.
The movie, which borrows from the sci-fi and horror genres, is fantastic - you can read our review here - and sees filmmaker S.K. Dale reunite with Fox after they previously collaborated on Till Death. With A.I. also front and centre, Subservience is also a very timely movie that plays with deeper themes of temptation, lust, and sentience.

"Don't turn her on."
Transformers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles star Megan (or should that be M3GAN?) Fox has lined up a new sci-fi/horror role in Millennium Media's Subservience, which will also star Michele Morrone (365 Days).
Written by Will Honley and April Maguire, the story focuses on "Alice, a lifelike artificially intelligent android, who has the ability to take care of any family and home. Looking for help with the housework, a struggling father (Morrone) purchases Alice after his wife becomes sick. Alice suddenly becomes self-aware and wants everything her new family has to offer, starting with the affection of her owner – and she’ll kill to get it.”
The concept is obviously very similar to another recent killer AI horror flick which borrows its title from Ms. Fox's first name, but director S.K. Dale's previous movie with Fox, Till Death, is actually well worth a watch.

The Big Bang Theory alum took to TikTok over the weekend to thank well-wishers “for of the good wishes and all the love” after revealing her diagnosis.
“I have great news which is that I am cancer-free,” she said Saturday. “The surgery last week went great, all the reports I got back are that it worked out and I don’t need to do any more treatment.”
She also thanked her nurses and doctors for the care and for “figuring [the diagnosis] out early, because I am very very lucky and I know that.”

Last Tuesday, Micucci, 43, shared on TikTok that she underwent lung cancer surgery December 11. She said the diagnosis was a surprise because she’s never smoked. “But I guess it happens, and so the greatest news is they caught it early, they got it out — I’m all good,” she said at the time.
Mucci most recently was cast in a voice role for the upcoming animated Angry Birds Mystery Island TV series. Her other credits include NBC’s Four Kings, Scrubs, Till Death, Raising Hope, Steven Universe, How I Met Your Mother and Malcolm in the Middle, among others. Film credits include The Last Hurrah, Bart Got a Room and When in Rome.
Also an artist and a musician, she and Riki Lindhome comprise the musical comedy duo Garfunkel and Oates.

As Megan’s 3rd film with us, this high concept and topical subject makes for a cautionary tale of AI and the frighteningly real dangers that could rise. With the addition of the talented Michele to add an extra layer of spice as our leading man, we are excited to see leading lady Megan and S.

Megan Fox is playing a terrifying AI robot in a brand new movie. The actor will star alongside "365 Days" star Michele Morrone in a new movie "Subservience" from Millenium Media. Fox confirmed the news, first repoted in Deadline, with a cheeky Instagram post. She quoted the article's description of the film - "The film is about a struggling father (Morrone) who purchases a domestic Sim (Fox) to help care for his house and family until she gains awareness and turns deadly" - and wrote underneath, "A documentary."
The movie reunites Fox with director S.K. Dale, who directed Fox in 2021's "Till Death." The screenplay is by Will Honley and April Maguire. Last year Megan Fox and director S.K. Dale teamed up for the thriller Till Death, about a woman who has to deal with a pair of killers while handcuffed to the corpse of her husband. I thought that movie was pretty good, so I’m glad to hear that Fox and Dale are going to be working together again on the sci-fi thriller Subservience, which is scheduled to begin filming at the Bulgarian Nu Boyana Studio on January 7th.
Will Honley (Escape Room: Tournament of Champions) and April Maguire (Lost Girls) wrote the screenplay for Subservience, crafting a story about a struggling father who purchases a domestic Sim to help care for his house and family until she gains awareness and turns deadly.
Fox will be playing the Sim, while the struggling father will be played by Michele Morrone (365 Days).

In the 30 years since Avi Lerner founded Millennium Media, then Nu Image, in 1992, the company, legendary at the American Film Market for its straight-to-video mockbusters (Freefall, Cyborg Cop), creature features (Crocodile, Killer Rats) and cookie-cutter macho action mov- ies (Operation Delta Force, Deadly Outbreak) has grown up. A bit.
Millennium hasn’t abandoned its genre roots, but by focusing on fewer, bigger movies that can secure proper theatrical releases — most of them economically shot at the company’s Nu Boyana studios in Bulgaria and Greece— the company has built up an impressive library of blockbuster franchises, from Gerard Butler’s Has Fallen series to action comedy romps The Hitman’s Bodyguard, featuring Ryan Reynolds, Samuel L. Originally shot as Abyzou, The Offering begins with the camera slowly moving through rooms filled with candles and symbols. A rooster jumps into view, only to have its throat cut as part of a ritual. But this isn’t some voodoo ceremony or satanic offering, this is Hasidic mysticism. And, like so many other forms of magic, it doesn’t end well for the practitioner.
Art has come home, hoping to reconcile with his much more Orthodox father Saul. His wife Claire. has come along as well, although being told “Art may love you, but you’ll never be family” has made her less than enthusiastic about the trip. They hope the prospect of a grandchild will soften his attitude. We soon find out that the old man has indeed softened his opinions about Claire.

[Warning: The following contains Major spoilers for AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 5, “Till Death.”] Dark horses, actually. Plural. That’s the new name Dwight (Austin Amelio) and Sherry (Christine Evangelista) have given themselves in the 70-plus days since the nuclear bomb dropped. They’ve become “outlaws with a code” — so not really outlaws then, huh? — and they’re trying to show people the “right way to live,” because everyone’s mission is now the same as Morgan’s (Lennie James), even when they haven’t known him for all that long in the scheme of things. Anyway, here’s how it happens. Lauren “Lo” Smith/AMC Basically, the episode boils down to the fact that Strand needed the “Dark Horses” to track down a woman who’d escaped his tower. He had Howard bring them in, without knowing who they ...

This Fear the Walking Dead review contains spoilers.
Fear the Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 5
Sitting down to write this review of “Till Death,” I was surprised that the word count for just my notes was a whopping 1,400 words. While I tend to take very extensive notes for each episode, what sets “Till Death” apart is that much of my notes is devoted to ranting. Much of my frustration (as both reviewer and fan) stems from my disappointment with this season’s aimlessness. Why should viewers care about solving a 40-year-old murder case, or Sarah’s sudden interest in finding Wendell? Those both felt like filler episodes to me, and “Till Death” likewise does little to advance the overall story.
Austin Amelio and Christine Evangelista give this week’s tepid, nonsensical script their all, but even so, why should we care about the Dark Horses and their code? Does it really...

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly's style streak continues. The couple has taken New York by storm over the past few days with headline-making appearances at the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards and the actress' subsequent solo outing at the Met Gala. On both occasions, the pair put their most stylish foot forward on the red carpet and definitely did not leave the fashion at home for the after-parties, either. As for their most recent outfits together, the two were photographed hand in hand in New York City on Sept. 14 and it was hard to miss them. The Till Death star was particularly noticeable in what appeared to be a vivid blue leather scoop-neck jumpsuit with her signature dark hair...

“We are desperately sad to have lost not only a wonderful actress, whose screen and stage career, spanning over 50 years, was so extraordinarily varied, from ‘Till Death Us Do Part’ to ‘Sherlock,’ as well as memorable performances in the West End, at the Old Vic, Donmar Warehouse, Sheffield Crucible and National Theatre, but also a wickedly funny, elegant, stylish, graceful, gracious and kind and constant friend,” Blond said.
Stubbs debuted with TV show “Rush Hour” in 1958. Her last major role was playing Sherlock Holmes’ landlady Mrs Hudson in BBC series “Sherlock” starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman.
