This episode narrates the story of three women that through the folkloric and artistic dance movement (cueca sola), they resisted and challenged Pinochet's dictatorship, promoting their testimonies and realities to the whole world.

The City of Women is a neighborhood in Turbaco, Colombia that was entirely built by females that were running against civil conflicts and violence. Today, many years have passed, and they have become a strong community in the area and have brought peace into their lives after witnessing and experiencing the most horrific things before the city was created.

In 2004, journalist Lydia Cacho published the book "Demons of Eden", in which she complains about pederasty and sexual commerce in Mexico. The ones alluded go from powerful international businessmen with economic interests in Mexico to high authorities in politics, law and drug trafficking.

Methodically and violently, women's rights were abused during the 36-year civil war that occurred in Guatemala. This conflict resulted in more tan 200.000 lives lost. During this war that ravaged Guatemala, the systematic rapes and slavery of native women at the hands of the military, small children burned alive, and the genocide of an indigenous community are just a few examples of how the dictatorial regime of Efraín Ríos Montt destroyed women's lives.
