In one scene, where a character commits suicide, you can see a special disclaimer on the bottom right that reads "Suicide is not a solution for everything".

The film was earlier titled Sanki when it was announced.

Jawan marks Tamil film director Atlee's foray into Hindi films.

Jawan also marks tamil composer Anirudh Ravichander's first full-fledged debut as a solo music director in hindi 9 years since composing the single track "Yun Hi Re" for David (2013). Anirudh recently reprised the background score for the hindi remake of Jersey (2022) & composed some additional tracks.

While the film is primarily shot in the Hindi language, some portions were re-shot exclusively for the Tamil version (which was dubbed into Telugu.):

• The "Vandha Edam" song ("Zinda Banda" in Tamil) featured SRK mouthing the initial second verse of the song in Tamil with proper lip sync. This instance would mark 23 years since SRK's has spoken in Tamil since working on Kamal Haasan's Tamil version of Hey Ram (2000).
• Tamil actor Yogi Babu scenes replaced the scenes featuring Mukesh Chhabra.
