I have watched Oprah since she started and as most probably feel thought she was a down to earth easy to relate to person. Wrong! After watching this behind the scenes show I simply do not like the person she really is,condescending, aloof, and really not likable at all. She has staff that has been with her for years and yet they are stressed beyond belief just being in her presence, what does that say about a person. Oprah has always put forth the idea that her staff are really like a 'family", I'm sorry but family do not speak, and look at one another with such disdain. Yes I realize it takes a certain toughness to run her empire, sure, but do not portray yourself as just the girl next door, all kindness and low voiced opinions when in reality you are making every effort for your staff to see you as superior, not nice. I liked her a lot better before i saw this, it is clear she is not the all knowing intellect and personality assessor she thinks she is or she would see a staff that looks petrified to even put forth ideas of any kind. I suspect this is a very stressful working environment, they can have it.
