TAKEN, but wants to give it back
I suppose, if the franchise is popular, you might as well milk it. Neeson does what he's cast as, albeit slower and not as much ass kicking that I would have liked to see, however, he is on the verge of 70 and can still do convincing fight scenes. Always good to see Jai Courtney in a movie, he plays a great baddie in this one. Haven't seen Jeffrey Donovan since Burn Notice, was expecting him to sort out the mess that unfolded. Kate Walsh looked great, a bit ho-hum until the scene with Jai's character. The plot is a little far fetched, suspend disbelief and the movie will be ok. I would recommend this.

Your standard action flick
Greed corrupts absolutely. That is the main theme that emerges in this average sort of adventure. Liam Neeson and Kate Walsh carry the film. If you watch the trailer you get the whole gist of the film with no twists. Some good action scenes but our main villain proves to be very one dimensional. No backstory and stupid greed leads them to their betrayal of the badge. Overall it was good easy to understand fun and action, don't expect too much.
Liam Neeson. Plain and simple.
Not epic, but really enjoyable if you are a fan of this genre. And just so you know what genre I'm talking about, it's 'Liam Neeson', under 'Action'.
Movie's kinda sweet or naive I would say, but still has that action that makes me love this guy's movies.
There are a couple of minor plot twists, but nothing major. That's why it's a solid 7 for me, i. e. if you are a fan of his movies.
Really enjoyed it :).

Typical Good Liam Neeson Film
You always know what you are going to get with a Liam Neeson film...good acting, good action and an hour or two of very watchable entertainment. Nothing less, nothing more. This is no different, but nothing wrong with that either. Look past the cringes, somewhat predictability of a theme done multiple times before and enjoy Liam Neeson doing what he does best (with Kate Walsh delivering a stellar performance as well).

Just What You Expect
Liam Neeson goes to rent a storage locker and falls in love instantly with clerk Kate Walsh. Soon they are living together. He never tells her what he does, but one day he decides to put everything behind him, so he calls the FBI and tells them he's the "In and Out Bandit" who has stolen about $12,000,000 over the last year. He wants to surrender and return all the money in return for a lighter sentence, so he can spend the rest of his life with Miss Walsh.
This being a Liam Neeson action movie -- which he said he was never going to make another -- the agent he speaks to, and the agent's partner take the money for themselves and put Neeson and Miss Walsh on the run. But, as usual, Neeson has mad skilz; he's an ex-Marine bomb disposal expert, which means he can build them too. So it's explosions and chase, with Neeson driving an SUV, making this a fine Dad Movie. For a man who's 68, Neeson looks like he's 15 years younger. It's certainly not a great work of cinema art, but as long as he keeps making them, I'll keep watching them

Good Liam
Liam Neeson does another Taken film but this time the a pair of FBI agents are the bad guys. He blows up safes and has accumulated millions from his heists. He meets a woman right at the start of the movie and he falls in love with her and decides to turn himself in to prove his love for her. Temptation takes over as the lawmen decide to pad their retirement plans with a few million of the stolen loot. As expected, we get the car chases, fights and very little romance here. The script is nothing new but Liam is so good that it can be forgiven.
No real surprises here
Average film, generally enjoyable. Mild action film with an expected ending. Personally felt it was better than some of the reviews, but my expectations weren't high going in. I felt I basically knew everything I needed to know from the trailer, and it played out as anticipated.

Entertaining flick of a kind that get rare these times
If I think back the last 10 years, Liam Neeson movies never disappointed me, which also is true to this one.
Critics said, there is less action and more of the usual stuff, and in a kind of way that is right, there is less action than in the usual Liam movies (but the action there is, is excellent), but this one is more story-ridden; so this is a movie for action fans that have a bit matured like Liam, and the story is quite good and makes up for less action.
So this movie may be not so special, but one of the 1st ones in corona times that is really entertaining, you might say a popcorn movie we had in the old days and not anymore, and it is totally underrated. Enjoy!
(Rating should be 7 -7.5, so I gave it 8)

Maybe not very realistic, but still entertaining and worthwhile.
I liked it. It's an unpretentious action-thriller, nothing more, perfect entertainment for a rainy afternoon. Maybe it starts up a bit slow, and in between the action-scenes there may be a bit too much talking, especially between the honest thief (Liam Neeson) and his love-interest (Kate Walsh). And maybe the premise of an uncatchable bank-robber who doesn't use one single dollar of the 9 millions that he so far has laid his hands on, is a bit far-fetched and unrealistic. As is his motivation for robbing banks anyway, which almost makes him look angelic. But it at least does make for an original story and when the action kicks in, with lots of car-chasing and explosions, it's pretty exciting.
Liam Neeson does his usual fine job, and they've adjusted the physical exertions of the fighting-scenes to his age (meanwhile over 65), so it stays believable. I only became a bit weary of his raspy grunting voice, I kept wondering if he deliberately creates this for the supposed effect or if there's something wrong in his throat. Kate Walsh's part is small, she mainly has to act loving or wise or amazed, according to the specific scenes, which she does adequately.

Whao...this was pretty bad.
So, we have a bank robber who has stolen $9M in cash over a number of years. No one has a clue as to who he is. For all intent and purposes, he is a free man. He meets the woman of his dreams and wants to turn himself in to the FBI as well as all the money for a reduced prison sentence and live a clean life. As if this doesn't present profound and unbelievable stupidity, particularly from a guy who has evaded all law enforcement, he then proceeds to give his storage unit keys where all the money is hidden to two flunky FBI agents. It was this at this point I had to turn it off. Do yourself a favor and pass on this one.

Good fun
This is very much a straightforward movie, which seems to belong to an earlier, simpler, age. It moves along at a brisk pace, and keeps the viewers attention. My only grumble is that I would have liked another twenty minutes of story so as to give us some more character development, and perhaps making the ending a little less obvious.

Gotta love Liam Neeson
Yes this is very similar to other Liam Neeson films however you always know what you are getting with them and it is as decent as expected.
This could all have been avoided and Tom could have just lived happily ever after with his new love and all that money (or even just abandoned that money) but then I suppose there wouldn't have been a film then though!
It's a shame for Ramon (played by Anthony Ramos) Good for him to have one of his songs in the credits of a film he starred in also though.
A Solid Liam Neeson viewing.

Neesons Delivers What Fans Have Come To Expect
Honestly, it isn't that good
I'm a bit perplexed as to why someone like Liam Neeson would agree to do a movie like this. Granted, someone who is his age (nearly 70) would find it harder than your typical male movie star to be chosen for plum roles, so it's possible that this was the best project available for him at the time... which makes you wonder about the quality of the other projects that were being offered to him at the time this screenplay fell on his lap. Anyway, the movie is a disappointment, mainly because it is extremely predictable. You'll be one (or more) steps ahead of the characters at every point in the movie, because you'll have seen the various plot terms in many other movies before. Making matters worse is that some of the plot turns (mainly in the last 30 minutes) are either downright stupid or not properly explained. The movie may have worked had it been directed in a gritty or pulse-pounding fashion, but instead the story unfolds in a really slow and leisurely manner; you never think that anyone is in danger. Some viewers may also object that the movie was obviously done on more of a limited budget than usual, often making it look like a straight to DVD "B" movie. I don't object to low budgets and predictable plotting as long as a movie compensates in other areas - some straight to DVD "B" movies manage to do this so that I end up enjoying them a lot despite any shortcomings - but even while I admit that I was not bored at any moment watching this movie, I really can't see this movie offering enough to any particular viewer, save for die hard fans who want to see their now senior citizen-aged idol still managing to find work.
Turn your brain on and this is a 1 star movie
Unbelievable but good movie
