Great acting; great storyline; great special effects - gory, bloody and overall convincing drama set in The Hague, for a welcome change from Amster- or Rotterdam, with an exposing look on and in a (quite European) subculture of immigrants that shows existentialist struggles like everywhere else in the modern world. Some tongue in cheek to... Your sister is a wanted serial killer, I know, but we have to stick to "normal" - so: don't you have any homework? Really ma? Loved the score as well: banlieu hiphop, some French, some Dutch, but it set the mood. Again: not your typical dutch melodrama with characters frustrated because of their calvinistic upbringing but a fresh and modern tale of (maybe misplaced) shame and revenge for internet exposure.

The name and the cover art didn't really get my interest at first, but once I decided I shouldn't judge a book by its cover I thoroughly enjoyed this show, and I don't enjoy many Dutch TV shows or movies. It's a realistic portrayal of a young girl trying to open her heart for love and a better future, only to find pain and betrayel. The shows draws your full attention right from the start and each episode has a great pace. No unnecessary storylines, no lack of depth either. Excellent acting, directing and filmography. Promising first season. They should think big and out of the box for the next season.

At 2:00 am early morning, what will my neighbors think? I was full on shouting "yes Sihame! Get the mother f urs get them!" And clapping my hands all alone at home. These guys sure did f* with the WRONG girl. They did not hold back on the gore, violence and blood and that's one of the things I liked about this series. It was very dark without being depressing if you know what I mean. I appreciated the time line they choose. They start where Siham gets out of juvenile detention Shirley after being exposed. Then there was time line moving forward combined with flashbacks. This worked out very well for the overall story telling. Very surprised how good this was for a Dutch tv-series. You won't be disappointed by the ending either.

Didn't really know what to expect when i saw the poster. But after watching the first episode I was blown away. A beautiful cross between gore, drama and revenge.

The acting is top notch and really powerful. Very different then a normal dutch drama. The storyline is intriguing and takes you on a journey.

You really get on an amazing rollercoaster of emotions and you root for the protagonist. It's modern and the story is grips many woman. I think it's a very underrated series and deserves much more credit then it's getting now. I am hoping for another serie. Maybe on a different current problem'
