I was absolutely captivated by the film from start to finish. Every moment kept me on the edge of my seat, and I wasn't bored for a single second. The sets are simply stunning, with each scene being a true masterpiece, especially Monte Cristo's castle. The soundtrack is equally majestic and heightening the emotion of every key moment.

As for Pierre Niney, he is simply outstanding in the lead role. He portrays Edmond Dantès with such an intensity and depth. His performance clearly reflects the evolution of the caracter from the innocent sailor to the revengeful vigilanty at the verge of losing himself.

Special mention also goes to the actress who plays Haydée: she absolutely steals the show. Her presence is magnetic.

In short, this movie is a masterpiece that never lets up and is definitely worth watching.
