The "hunters" say that they only hunt using vintage weapons, but Udo Kier's character is seen using an M4 with Harris bipod, sniperscope and suppressor - definitely a modern weapon, not vintage. However, he is the local resident (a German immigrant) who hired the American hunters; the contrast is intentional.

The water truck was shot up on the way to the village but a closeup shows rust seeping from the bullet holes, indicating that they've been in place for some time.
