"Wrobel" is a film with an excellent cast and an interesting story. Mr. Jacek Borusinski did great in the title role, but so did Mr. Krzysztof Stroinski and Mrs. Julia Chetnicka. In one word, first-class casting.
The multi-threaded story (work as a postman, love, family, friends, football club) is interesting, although with such a multitude of ideas it is difficult to wrap up all the threads perfectly and... unfortunately that is also the case here. Perhaps we would like to know a little more about the past history of Remek and Pedro, the parents of the main character, etc. A treat for football fans will be this element of history and Radoslaw Majewski, who appears in the film. The sweatshirt worn by one of the actors from a certain national team from 1966 perfectly fits the atmosphere of the show. At some point I lost faith that the creators would show us at least A Piece of the Match, but fortunately my fears did not come true.
The comedic element is good, even very good. I actually laughed out loud a few times. Adventures with grandpa, the postman's job (which I would also like to learn more about) and the scene in which we see the title of the film are just some of the few funny moments during the screening.
It should be emphasized that (almost) everything that happens, e.g. At the beginning, has its explanation later in the film (e.g. Dialogue while crossing the lanes).
To sum up - the film "Wrobel" is a film with interesting but underdeveloped characters; an interesting story that wraps up all the threads and very good comedy elements. The biggest drawback of the film, however, is the time and the feeling of boredom that appears during it.
I recommend it to everyone who wants to watch a good Polish comedy and to those who don't know what movie is worth going to the cinema to see. It's always best to go, see it with your own eyes and form your own opinions about the film you've watched.
Rating: Not bad +, on the IMDB scale 6.5/10

PS. The history of its creation, everything related to the production and creation of the film, is very interesting. Mr. Tomasz and Mr. Jacek are modest people with great passion for what they do. Greetings from the 51st Inskie Lato Filmowe.
