Came here for Charlie Tahan as Im a big fan since Ozark, without expecting much about the movie. Turned out to be quite entertaining with some good laughs here and there. Simple movie about life, and our abilities to make decisions / take actions, pictured in a college where Michael (Charlie) seems to get as stuck in real life as he is in the night bus he's driving every night on a loop, to bring back drunk college kids from parties to their places.
Good acting, likeable characters, and very funny moments. This movie put a big smile on my face.

Light comedy set in a dark loop, and some how you need to break out of it.
The movie script was good, purposeful I would say, but it did had a yawn moments in times ,, It did score the genre of comedy/drama steadily, the screenplay is very connected and easily comprehensible and the plot and even the ending was satisfying for me.
The cast was very good, from Charlie Tahan to Pineapple (which by the way is his actual name :D) ,, but speaking of the cast I didn't like Will Forte being just behind the radio and popping up right at the end !! Come on !! He would have made and extra sprinkle on the comedy.
The movie is recommended especially for those who would love to watch a nice story about doing something stupid at least once in a life time :)

It's watchable, the two main characters have ok chemistry, and there are a few entertaining enough scenes, but like the characters life, nothing ever really gets going.
Its unfortunate that the main character is quite unlikeable, especially since the other primary character of Pineapple is quite entertaining. Some more student revenge hijinks or anything to get them teaming up physically more would have been nice, and have opened the movie up to more plot possibilities.
A bit cliched and empty, but well made.

Someone should tell the writer that the story he's attempting to tell already exists, and it's a 15 y/o flick called Garden State.

The fun part I didn't get, the reality part of a depressing job and life changing encounter when meet pineapple is more interesting. I treat this as a drama to view, not a comedy.
Films like this don't seem to be made very much anymore but they really should be. Drunk Bus has properly defined characters that you become genuinely interested in. It's also very, very funny at times. It also packs a surprisingly effective emotional punch towards the end.
The tone of the film kind of reminded me of Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982) and The Wild Life (1984), although it's still very contemporary. Another film that I'd have happily watched another hour of and not felt bored.
Only docked one star because I felt Zach Cherry's character didn't add anything and seemed a little out of place. Other than that, this film comes highly recommended. Seriously good soundtrack as well.

This movie has very few funny moments and still these aren't great laughs. In the first 30 minutes there was just one joke. It is more like a drama about a depressive guy who drives a bus. It becomes a little better after a security enforcer named Pineaple comes by.

This is absolutely perfect. It is in every respect so real, relatable and funny and covers every aspect of a coming of age comedy. That every big budget college campus movie has ever tried to be, but never comes across as cliched, trite or forced. You know every character, you've lived every experience but this is a great reflection of a relatable characters transformation through things that we've all been through. The script is great, its not playing for laughs but remains believably funny and endearing throughout,. I'm writing this review 60% of the way through and I can't fault; I'm willing to put my stamp on this before I've seen how it pans out. This is a movie that makes you smile all the way through, a lot of big studio movies trying to get this feel could learn a lot from. Great direction, script and acting. Enjoy.

A norwegian sole, that usually defrosts every morning with a film a la carte, usually it works, and definately this one, im enjoying the samoan summer onboard a drunk bus somewhere college town inside the deep frosted areas of winter midwest u.s. How to make a good comedy outta nothing special, do watch ''drunk bus''
its has it all, even the score, no real naked parts though, but a good elaboration of 2 lifes sworn to be what they are, a nightbus driver and his security guard, holding the ranks of drunken students at a straight row, and saving f... y.. bob every night from freezing to death every night.
Its a small cast movie, most of the plot happens in the dark hours, its an deflated urban interface scania passenger bus with a ramp for the disabled and and trolly mums. The actors in charge are just hilariously good at it, and milestone in comedymaking with an echo of good old 80's comedy prank setup.
I guess some will find it cheesy because it has so much humanity in its storyline, and some deep sore seriousness in there, but thats part of the fun. Its just like me the grumpy old man, cause im like bob, riding my wheelchair... its a recommend.

Fun movie with a ton of laughs. A must watch. Stick around until after the credits!!!
This movie captures the college years and coming of age so perfectly. It's funny and relatable but not in an overly done slap stick way. It was so well done.

This was such a great movie. It made me laugh and almost cry but mostly it made me feel good. It's like a great antidepressant especially during these crazy times of quarantine. The producers/ creators of the show are amazing as well. They full support the movie by traveling the world to share the movie and are great supporters on IG as well. The actors were superb. This movie gives you not only Devo but the amazing Frank Iero as Hank Hero as well. I can't say enough good things about it and I'm not embarrassed to say that I've watched it more than a few times.
