This week’s episode of “The Masked Singer” will be the end of the road for either Chameleon or Robopine, according to Gold Derby’s predictions. Our readers have been making their picks all season long and these two creatures are the likeliest to be eliminated during the Spicy 6 episode, airing Wednesday, May 5 on Fox. The other four crooners — Black Swan, Russian Dolls, Piglet and Yeti — should all live to sing another day. Do you agree or disagree with our racetrack odds? Be sure to make your own predictions and then defend your choice in the comments section.

Spoiler Alert: This article contains details from the series finale of Criminal Minds.
After 15 seasons, CBS’s long-running procedural created by Jeff Davis is coming to an end. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the gang at the Bau said farewell tonight with back-to-back episodes. Like many series, it ended with a gathering of the cast, glasses of champagne, and tearful speeches. But before they get to the goodbyes, Rossi (Joe Mantegna) and company had to hunt down one more psychopath before popping bottles and toasting the end of an era…and that psychopath was “The Chameleon.”
In the first episode of the two-parter, titled “Face Off,” our favorite Bau denizens are looking for the aforementioned “The Chameleon,” aka Everett Lynch (Michael Mosley), who has an affinity for cutting his victim’s faces off. It’s been almost a year since he almost killed Rossi, and at the top of the episode,...

Changes may be on the horizon at the Bau.
Both Prentiss and J.J. were pondering life-changing positions on Criminal Minds Season 15 Episode 8.
Let's assess the possibility of the pair actually moving on.
As Deputy Director Barbour pointed out to Emily, Director of the FBI is a political position.
Prentiss has proven she is not a political animal.
Nor does she suffer politically-minded bureaucrats gladly. Remember her battle with the ambitious Associate Director Barnes in Criminal Minds Season 13?
Undoubtedly, she'd have even less tolerance for self-aggrandizing politicians.
Also, Prentiss has always been an ends-just-the-means kind of supervisor, which is bound to rub skittish politicians the wrong way.
She would have to break off her budding relationship with Mendoza since she would be his ultimate supervisor. There's bound to be rules against such fraternization.
Finally, she's a woman. It would take a brave politician to nominate the first female Director of the FBI,...

The cat is out of the bag, as far as which familiar faces you can expect to see in Criminal Minds‘ final two episodes, airing back-to-back next Wednesday, Feb. 19. So turn back now if you want to save yourself some swell surprises.
CBS issued official press releases for the episodes, the first of which is titled “Face Off” and commemorates the first anniversary of Rossi nearly dying at the hands of Everett Lynch aka The Chameleon (played by Castle alum Michael Mosley). When David develops some new theories with inspiration from his former partner, a young Jason Gideon (returning guest...

So, it's not time to put Rossi out to pasture quite yet.
That appeared to be the upshot of Criminal Minds Season 15 Episode 1 and Criminal Minds Season 15 Episode 2.
That's not to say that the Bau's eminence grise didn't have some issues with which to deal.
Tops among those is obsession.
Everett Lynch, "The Chameleon," reminded Rossi of his mortality when Lynch ran rather than killing an unconscious Rossi on Criminal Minds Season 14 Episode 13.
So Rossi has spent the last six months on a solo, mostly unauthorized manhunt for Lynch, largely to prove to himself that he's still vital and indispensible.
You would think a newlywed could find something better to do with his time. But instead he was ducking calls from Krystall, who was right to be worried about his behavior.
Rossi was also working on Prentiss's last nerve.
Because of their long relationship, Prentiss had likely given Rossi much...

For CBS’ Criminal Minds, the end begins this Wednesday at 9/8c, with a two-hour Season 15 premiere that updates us on Rossi’s ongoing obsession with “the Joker to his Batman” as well as forces JJ and Spencer to address the elephant that for them has been standing in the room for a long, “sad” six months.
