Incredibly beautiful. Impressive debut.
28th STOCKHOLM INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL. DAY 5, NOV 12th 2017. Nordic premiere.
I watched "Falling" (2017) when it premiered this morning at Stockholm International Film Festival. I just can't stop thinking about it.
It's been in my head all day. It's so incredibly beautiful, so impressively paced and well- written and nicely directed -- and actors Dasha Plahtiy and Andriy Seletskiy are perfect.
I've watched 18 films at the festival during the past 5 days. Several of them have been very touching, like Mysius' "Ava", del Toro's "The Shape of Water", Robinson's "Professor Marston and the Wonder Women" and Van Leeuw's "Insyriated". The movie that have left the deepest mark in my heart and soul, however, seems to be "Falling". I will carry it with me through life.
