Zip it Stan Lee!!
Fun teaser trailer... not great, but fun! definitely creates hype for Deadpool 2. The best thing about this short film is that it can be viewed for free on YouTube, so check it out!!!

Deadpool attempts to stop a mugging
This is a live action Deadpool short and it's really entertaining. It also has quite a few references worth mentioning. When Deadpool walks by a movie theater it reads "Logan" which is obviously a reference to the film "Logan" which was released the same day as this short. Also when Deadpool spots the mugging he desperately tries to quickly change into his Deadpool uniform by going inside of a phone booth and changing into his superhero attire. This is obviously a reference to Superman who would famously change into his super suit via phone booth. At last Deadpool was too late to stop the mugging and decides to just eat the victim's yogurt instead. So overall funny short with a funny conclusion.

So you've seen the other review
First off, I gave it a 10 specifically to upset Thomas-the-German-Snowflake. Second, this little effort was funny. Was it genius? No. But not everything needs to be brilliant to be funny. Second of all, it is a nice reminder why we all like the first movie and are jacked to see the follow-up effort.
Ryan Reynolds owns this character and the edginess combined with the animal house sense of humour (that's right I added a "u", deal with it) makes this video a welcome addition to the Marvel Universe.
Oh, and Stan Lee's cameo is gonna make you chuckle.

Deadpool just doing Deadpool things
When I went to go see Logan on opening night, this was shown before the movie started. I thought it was a part of Logan, because of the music and the way it was shot. It was a pleasant surprise to see it was actually Wade Wilson.
It was really funny, as Deadpool was being the smirky anti-hero he usually is. Ryan Reynolds brought a new, funny, fourth-wall breaking, and bad-mouthed character to screen in 2016 with the Deadpool movie. This short brought back the feeling people had when seeing Deadpool for the first time a year earlier. Reynolds truly is the only actor that can play Deadpool with such ease and enthusiasm. It was also nice to have a good laugh before watching the serious and emotional Logan.
I cannot wait to see Deadpool 2 in 2018 and the upcoming X-Force that Reynolds is confirmed to be a part of (not only as Deadpool, but as a producer/writer too).

A fun teaser / short film
Even though it was not as good as everyone expected, I still liked the Deadpool movie – enjoyed the marketing, enjoyed the perception of how it was made, and liked that it was successful. This short film captures a lot of that, and it seems nicely disrespectful of a world that is worth billions and filled with "event" movies. Of course there is an irony that Deadpool is also an event film that needs to make money, and that this short film / teaser / trailer pulled in millions of views pretty quickly, however it still manages to have that rebellious tone which works with the character.
The 'plot' here is that Deadpool hears a man in trouble (who may or may not be Spiderman's Uncle Ben) and rushes into a phone booth to change into his costume. It is a simple film that needs you to enjoy the humor of the main film and character. It is consistently amusing and well made; with plenty of 4th walls broken (references to Deadpool's costumer, Logan playing in the cinema in the background, Stan Lee playing Stan Lee, etc). The dialogue fits this style too and I enjoyed it for its brief silly nature, although at the same time if you did not enjoy the film then this will do nothing new to win you over.

No nominations for Best Live-Action Short from ANYONE????
Loved the movies. Just stumbled across this gem years later. The script is terrific, as is the score. Great spoof of the historic genre; and a Stan Lee cameo is even more of a treat since his departure from our slice of the Multiverse.
But the capper is the wise-ass high school book report scroll of Old Man and the Sea. A wonderful non sequitur. That bumped my 8 to a 10.

Is this suppose to be funny?
It had no Big Bang Theory laugh track, so I'm not sure when I should have laughed.
Weak movies and annoying characters should not be allowed this much exposure, then to produce more of it. This short was pure hash.
At least The Big Bang Theory had the courtesy to put a laugh track.
Last Word: Deadhash. I like Deadpool but his live action hash is, well it's hash.
