Sajid Nadidawala saw the film during the editing stage and liked it so much .He called up Tiger Shroff and director Ahmed Khan to his office and said he wants to make Baaghi 3 with them which was even before the films release.

The chase sequence between Tiger Shroff and Pratiek Babbar was inspired by the chase sequence in Yash Chopra's Darr (1993) between Sunny Deol and Shahrukh Khan which was one of the most iconic chase sequences in Hindi Cinema.
