The UK release was cut, the distributor chose to make cuts to remove scenes of strong violence in order to obtain a 12A classification. An uncut 15 classification was available.

After the release, the makers deleted 9 minutes 40 seconds from the film, based on public feedback. The song 'Awara' was edited out while 'Naina Lade' was slightly trimmed. A few comedy scenes that didn't elicit the desired laughs from the moviegoers were also trimmed.
