In 2001, Disney released the video as "It's a Wiggly, Wiggly World! Live in Concert" on VHS in the UK, with several edits made (not to be confused with
The Wiggles: Wiggly, Wiggly World! (2000)). "In the Wiggles World" is added at the beginning (with the "It's a Wiggly Wiggly World!" title card), and "Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport" was added to the end, replacing "Wiggly Christmas Medley" (which had already been featured on
The Wiggles: Wiggly Wiggly Christmas (1997), released around the same time). The original title is still seen however, after "Officer Beaples' Dance" and is referenced on the video's back cover as well as the name of the concert.
The reason for these differences and the name change is largely unknown. It's possible Disney had no interest in releasing the actual video of
The Wiggles: Wiggly, Wiggly World! (2000) as most of the featured guest stars were unknown to the United Kingdom audience, with the most notable exception being
Rolf Harris. By adding "Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport" from the Wiggly Wiggly World video to this allowed it to be seen in the UK without having to release the rest.
The Wiggles (1993) Series 2 had begun airing earlier in the year on GMTV, so the addition of "In The Wiggles World" (that series's theme song), and the "It's a Wiggly, Wiggly World!" title, may have been an attempt to tie it in with that series.
Like the Australian version, this release has never been put onto DVD.
