- TriviaWas set to release on 5 April 2019 but this was delayed by five months due to actor Nikhil Gowda running for a parliament seat in the 2019 Indian general election that same month and promotion of a candidate is forbidden. Ironically, he was beaten in the election by his late co-star Ambarish's widow, Sumalatha.
- Alternate versionsThe film was dubbed in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi. The Hindi version cuts out the songs, making the film about fifteen minutes shorter.

How illiterate should you be to give this film 10/10 and call it super? what kind of slave should you be of the celebrities that you can't see how they have brought down our epics to the lowest grade possible. Must be a lot of illiterates from Mandya (I have had first hand knowledge on them).
Let me begin humiliating this waste by talking about the beginning credits. The beginning credits go away so soon that I could barely read the boasting of every actor's names and their titles as if they have won wars and helped millions of people around the world. I could barely know who is acting as who. Either respect the cast and crew by showing their names for a minimum of 4 seconds (or whatever a learned editor would say is the right time) or don't show the names of the cast and crew at all. Does the idiot MLA muniratna understand what does 'A film by' means? It's not the producer's name or the financier's name that has to be put there. Its the director's name you idiot thief. And what the F...do you mean story is by you? Have you heard of Vyasa? Dumb illiterates become politicians. Take money from the government which is tax payers money and then don't use it for the welfare of the people but make horrible movies from it. This muniratna will receive all the curses that come with this garbage.
Now for the story & screenplay. Such a wrongful depiction of the Mahabharata. Shame, shame, shame. The story of Shakuni is twisted and the age shown of all the characters is wrong. Duryodhana's involvement in Palace of Lac, the Virata yuddha is never shown even though this is Duryodhana's POV. An important scene of Karna's funeral is also not shown. The writing is so manipulated that muniratna doesn't even know the Mahabharata. Forget reading the epic, that idiot could have just watched B.R. Chopra's Mahabharata and would have known better. A lot of things are so messed up in writing that I am pissed as a writer and as a Hindu.
Casting and acting. Darshan's language is so non-kingly Kannada. It's so mandya Kannada sometimes. These people can't pronounce the words properly. For eg., instead of 'horage' they say 'orage' or instead of 'ashtakke' they say 'astakke' or saying two variations of the same word in a single sentence like 'prathishtapane' and 'pratistapane'. And we call them celebrities. Shame. This mispronouncing is OK in their disgusting dumb films but this is a movie on Mahabharata. The worst part is by Ambareesh (that's what I thought. Wait for the worst to come). He looks so bad with cotton stuffed on his face. The only reason Ambareesh is in the film was to bring his fans into the theaters. Nothing else. Ambareesh looks like his head has been fixed on someone else's body. This guy plays Bheeshma. Are you kidding me? And here comes the worst actor for the played role. Ravichandran as Krishna. Is Ravichandran pregnant? He is depressing with his bulging belly popping out that brings shame to the character of Lord Krishna. Did he play holi and came to the set? Disgustingly blue. That blue is not Krishna. That's muniratna's film collection. Nikhil Kumaraswamy (or whatever his name is) is so laughable. This horrible looking guy can't even act. I couldn't make myself laugh or cry looking at him, let alone his acting. Thank god I haven't watched any of his films nor will I ever. And that girl who plays Subhadra. What a pain. That guy who played Bheema is unberable. He can't even stand properly, let alone act. Sonu Sood is so bad as Arjuna. OMG! Am not even gonna comment on the Kannada dub. There isn't any actor who is fit for the character except probably Darshan as Duryodhana (in looks), Arjun Sarja as Karna and Sreenivas Murthy as Dronacharya.
The Cartooning. Yes, the cartooning. Using the word VFX would be a shame to the word VFX. Shame. This is as bad as the VFX used in bahubali movie. When a cat walks on the keys of a computer keyboard that too by mistake we get the VFX of this film.
The music. What in this shameful world is the song jhumma jhumma juhm' with Haripriya (or whatever hr name is)? I would use the most foul words and curses if it weren't for IMDB's so called rules.
The film. The longest episode of a depressingly made, shamefully executed, greedy producers involved, disgusting TV serial. Thank god I downloaded this film and I could thus fast forward a lot of unwanted scenes. Thank god am not in Bengaluru. I know people from Rajarajeshwari Nagara. They'll never vote for this muniratna. Mind you. The real Mahabharata brought Adharma down. This Mahabharata will bring muniratna down.
