After season three of Chucky ended, fans were subjected to a painfully long wait as the show’s future was decided. Ultimately, USA/SyFy/Peacock canceled Chucky and the entire horror world shed a bloody tear. Even if you weren’t a fan of the franchise, it’s hard to deny how great it was having a classic horror villain get such a mainstream spotlight. Hell, we even got to see Chucky kill WWE Women’s Champion Liv Morgan. It’s the kind of thing that only works in the ludicrous world of Chucky. And with Season 3 ending off on such a cliffhanger, this cancellation really leaves fans high and dry. But there’s still hope in multiple forms.
Don Manicini mentioned earlier this year that he was prepping another movie involving Chucky and it would “work in tandem with the TV show.” Obviously, with this change of events, I...

We've all been there. We're so heavily invested in a TV show that we look forward to new episodes each and every week (or on one specific day each year in this new modern era of streaming shows), falling in love with the characters and the stories that are told. And then, without warning, it is cancelled by the network, bringing about a premature ending to its run.
It's not a good feeling as it robs a good show of fulfilling its true potential. Most of the times, it's little-shows-that-could that get axed before they ever get the chance to evolve into something bigger, but occasionally there are some high-profile cancellations that come out of absolutely nowhere and are often down to reasons beyond ratings. Some even spawn revival campaigns and some are even successful.
Nevertheless, as constant and annoying as the cancellation of your favorite TV show is, it continues to happen each year.

Jeff Goldblum on the negative reviews of Jurassic World Dominion: “It’s tough to make a good movie.”
Colin Trevorrow wrapped up his Jurassic World trilogy with the 2022 film Jurassic World Dominion, which brought Jurassic World stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard together with the stars of the original Jurassic Park; Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum. The movie went over reasonably well with movie-goers, earning a 77% positive audience on Rotten Tomatoes and racking up over a billion dollars at the global box office. The critical reception was another story: only 29% of the reviews were positive. Here on JoBlo, the movie only received a 5/10 review. Speaking with Total Film magazine, Goldblum addressed the fact that Jurassic World Dominion received negative reviews, saying that “It’s tough to make a good movie.”
The Goldblum interview can be found in the newly released issue of Total Film magazine, issue 356 – which, unfortunately, happens to be the final issue of the magazine. When Jurassic World Dominion came up, Goldblum said,...

We're all familiar with the Netflix Bump. It's proven beneficial to a number of fan-favorite but ratings impaired series like Riverdale, Manifest, All American and more. The streaming service has even been able to boost up shows from beyond the grave, with long-canceled or recently ended series like Suits, New Amsterdam, and Young Sheldon. Well, another series has claimed the crown.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, for the week of Aug. 5-11, Prison Break ranks as the No. 1 show across all streaming services with a whopping 1.6 billion viewing minutes via Nielsen streaming content ratings. For comparison's sake, Max's House of the Dragon, which has fewer episodes but ended its second season on Aug. 4, came in fifth that week with 935 million minutes viewed.

Back in January, Universal Pictures made a surprising announcement: not only did they have a new Jurassic World movie in development, but the screenplay – by original Jurassic Park screenwriter David Koepp, returning to the franchise for the first time since The Lost World: Jurassic Park – had already been written, and the movie was on the fast track to production. Soon after, we learned that it’s aiming for a July 2, 2025 theatrical release. Assembled in a mad scramble, the movie is now filming with Godzilla director Gareth Edwards at the helm… and during an interview with V Magazine, cast member Jonathan Bailey (Bridgerton) indicated that this movie is an attempt to bring the franchise back to its roots and get closer to replicating what the original Jurassic Park delivered.

There’s an old rule in TV that when a show becomes a hit, you’re going to see copycats. So when Lost exploded onto TV screens as a monster success in 2004, it’s no shock that networks were quick to copy it. Sadly, too many of these would-be clones couldn’t come close to Lost’s success, failing to make their mythology or storytelling compelling enough for viewers and the majority didn’t last one season.
Yet there are a number of shows that can appeal to Lost fans. Most are pretty blatant in the setup of folks traveling and somehow trapped in a strange place. Others utilize some great mythology and are backed by a terrific cast to work well. With Lost on Netflix again, it’s time to enjoy the best of shows inspired by it, and these 15 shows definitely appeal to anyone who loves Lost’s unique storytelling style.

Assembled in a mad scramble, the movie is now filming with Godzilla director Gareth Edwards at the helm… and while a title has never been officially announced (we’ve heard that people involved with the production were referring to it as Jurassic World 4 and/or Jurassic City), the title might have just been given away by trademark filings. A few days ago, Amblin Entertainment filed to trademark the title Jurassic World: Rebirth for several products.

Mattel announced the “Jurassic World Hammond Collection Bubbles Up Jimmy Buffett Figure” today, which will launch on July 25th at 9am Pt for $30.
The Jurassic World Jimmy Buffett action figure “wears his island apparel, including sunglasses and flip-flops. Major Spoilers for Suits
By now everybody knows about the USA Network’s relatively hit series at its time of release which became one of the biggest series ever after it came out on Netflix in June 2023. Yes, we are talking about Aaron Korsh‘s legal drama series Suits. Which got over 3.14 billion minutes of watch time surpassing the fantasy drama Manifest. This led to NBC greenlighting a pilot for an L.A.-based spin-off series titled Suits: L.A. with which they are hoping to capture the original series’ audience. But in this article, I am trying to figure out if a spin-off of Suits will even work because one has already failed.

Law & Order’s Season 23 finale on Thursday marked Camryn Manheim’s last episode as Lt. Kate Dixon — who won’t be returning next season — but the hour focused on Tony Goldwyn’s Da Baxter amid another high-profile murder investigation.
A famed sports star was killed, and detectives Shaw and Riley set out to find the culprit. Lt. Dixon oversaw the case on the police side, securing a warrant to arrest their main suspect, a stalker named Kyle Taggert who proved to be a valuable witness. It was his footage from that night which revealed Baxter was the intended target.

Taylor Sheridan’s dedication to authenticity is unmatched, and he proved just how far he was willing to go for his art during the filming of a scene for his Yellowstone prequel series titled 1883. He actually risked a lot for this 2021 miniseries starring Sam Elliott & Tim McGraw to capture a pivotal scene, adding an unparalleled layer of authenticity to the gripping tale.

The genius behind the cultural phenomenon of Yellowstone has not only given us a riveting portrayal of the Dutton family’s legacy, with coming attractions like the sequel show tentatively named 2024 but also two enthralling prequels—1883 and 1923.
Earlier this year, in an appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience, Sheridan shared some fascinating insights into the real history of the Wild West in the late 1800s that served as the inspiration for 1883.

NBC’s schedule for the 2024-25 season doesn’t look that different from its current lineup: The Voice on Monday and Tuesday nights, the three Chicago dramas on Wednesday and Law & Order shows on Thursday.
It’s a business-as-usual lineup — but after last year’s strikes-affected schedule and the numerous disrpuptions of the pandemic year of 2020-21 still relatively fresh, that’s a good thing.
“Basically, it was just where do we put our sophomore shows and our our new shows on schedule?” Steve Kern, senior vp program planning and scheduling at NBC Entertainment, told The Hollywood Reporter in an interview. “Our wish was to have two comedy blocks on the fall schedule, and we were fortunate to have enough comedies to do it this year.”
