Three months after fracturing his neck in a major bicycle accident, MTV’s “Catfish” host Nev Schulman is ready to run the New York City Marathon.

Schulman is expected to take off from the marathon starting line this Sunday, Nov. 3, defying the predictions of some who thought he’d never walk again.

“I just remember the look on every nurse and doctor’s face as they came into the room for the first time,” Schulman told the New York Post. “[They were] expecting me to be some version of paralyzed, and being so shocked, and almost confused.

“They’d all come in and do the same tests every few hours. They would touch my feet and they’d say, ‘Do you feel this?’ . . . I became very aware over the course of that first 48 hours [in the ICU] how close I came to not potentially walking out of the hospital — or walking — ever again.”

Roadside Attractions has dated Gia Coppola’s latest for an awards-qualifying run in Los Angeles on Dec. 13, 2024. The film will then open nationwide on Jan. 10, 2025.

UTA Independent Film Group has acquired Uwe Boll’s upcoming migrant crisis thriller “Run,” starring Emmy and Tony award winner Amanda Plummer (“Star Trek: Picard”) and James Russo (“Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1”).

UTA will handle global sales for the pic, produced by Boll’s U.S.-Canadian shingle Event Film and his German outfit Bolu.

UTA takes over from the film’s initial sales company, Stuttgart-based Kinostar, headed by “Run” executive producer Michael Roesch. The move is seen as an advantage for potential worldwide deals.

“We are thrilled to work with UTA for the global sales of ‘Run’ and can’t wait to introduce the movie to audiences around the world,” said Boll.
