Yingluo's attitude and abilities create tension in the Embroidery Workshop. Noble Consort Gao's involvement in Lady Yu's health leads to a confrontation, as the Empress continues to struggle with her management of the Harem. Yingluo encounters the Emperor for the first time.

Yingluo receives a mixed reception as she moves to the Empress' palace, but is determined to make a good impression. Noble Consort Gao and Consort Jia discuss how to deal with the resilient maid. The Emperor mulls over how best to address a matter of political malfeasance by a family member of one of his consorts.

Consort Xian attempts to avoid palace intrigue, even as she grapples with a difficult family member. Accusations are hurled after an incident at Consort Yu's palace, which nevertheless allows Yingluo to get closer to Fucha Fuheng.

Mingyu's resentment towards Yingluo grows as the latter endears herself to the Empress. Consort Xian struggles to secure funds in order to help a family member.

Noble Consort Gao continues to torment Consort Yu, although Yingluo remains vigilant to threats to her health. We are introduced further to Eunuch Yuan Chunwang, who suffers after being caught up in Consort Xian's earlier efforts to assist a family member. Yingluo is entrusted with the care of the Emperor's gift to the Empress.

The machinations of Noble Consort Gao and Consort Jia come to a head at the Empress' birthday tea party. Consort Xian received a solution to her money problems, but worries her integrity may have been compromised.

Consort Xian receives further troubling news about her family, leading the Empress to intercede in order to prevent further hurt. Yingluo makes a start on her reading and writing lessons.

Yingluo continues with her writing lessons, and is drawn to a night-time meeting by one of the Prince Ri's guards. The Emperor makes a decision regarding Consort Jia, although Yingluo is critical of his approach. With an offering ceremony due to take place, Yingluo wonders whether the gathering of officials create an opportunity for her.

Yingluo lays a trap during the sacrifice of the meat. If the emperor finds anyone has tempered with the meat then he will be furious and punish anyone involved.

Concubine Xian comes to visit Jia in Lenggong. Jia becomes angry while pouring out her inner dissatisfaction and grievance, while ridiculing Concubine Xian's incompetence dealing with her family matters. In a brief moment Concubine Xian thought of everything she had experienced which pushes her into a big reaction.

Yingluo gets help from Fu Heng to secretly investigate and find the truth about her sister killer, While the Empresses is away, Yugui suddenly goes into labor and shocks everyone in the Changchun Palace. Consort Gao demands immediate action on a gravely important matter.

Consort Gao argues that the Emperor should take swift action while Concubine Xian proposes to let the famous doctor Ye Tianshi from Jiangnan diagnose and treat the fifth eldest brother.

The Emperor come down with a strange illness as the Empresses and Yingluo go to take care of him. Doctor Ye Tianshi enlists Yingluo's assists for an unorthodox treatment.

Yingluo suspects someone has been secretly taking care of her during the night while she has been recovering. Mingu continue to disobey the Empress and takes her bad mood out on the Empress's other guests which causes unusually alliances that may have bad consequences. Everyone comes together to celebrate the Emperor's birthday.

Yingluo proposes a temporary truce with Mingyu to try and find the missing Buddhist Stone. Noble Lady Shu try's again to shame the Empress and get Yingluo removed from the Palace in an attempt to gain the favor of Consort Gao during the Emperor's Mother's visit.

Consort Gao gets punished by the Emperor's Mother. Noble Lady Shu apologies and comes up with a plan to try and enlist Yingluo's assistance in a lethal plot.

Yingluo gets accused of working with Consort Gao. The Emperor meets with his brothers while more information about what happened to Yinguo's sister's gets revealed.

Yingluo sets a trap to try to catch the person who she believes attacked her sister.

Someone try to silence Yinglou and protect the Emperor's brother. The identity of Yunluo's sister's killer is finally revealed.

Fucha Fuheng expresses his plan to the Empress. While the Emperor suspects Yinglou might have an ulterior motive. The Emperor puts his suspension to the test.

Yingluo continues to seek revenge for her sister, emboldened, she plans to pay a visit to Princess Yu.

Yingluo begins her punishment at the workhouse. The Empress expresses her feeling about Yingluo to the Emperor. Consort Xian pays her respects to the Fifth Brother following the passing of his mother.

Yingluo rescues Yuan Chunwang from trouble and they agree to look out for each other. The Empress decides to delegate some of her duties to others so she can focus more on taking care of her health during the pregnancy.

Consort Gao and Nalan Chunxue's plan to attack the Empress is unleashed during the Emperor's Mother's dinner. Consort Xian catches the eye of the Emperor's Mother by coming to her assistance in a time of need. Consort Gao also ceases the chance to get some revenge on Yingluo.

Consort Xian makes a plan to give food to the refugees suffering by the floods, but a disturbance breaks out, can she handle this situation? In a time of need Yuan Chunwan sets up to help the Kingdom maintain the peace.

Consort Gao prepare for the final practice performance before the Emperor's Mother's birthday. Some uninvited guests turn up for the final practice, will things go to plan for Consort Gao?

Yingluo and Yuan Chunwan decide to become Brother and Sister. Mingyu and Fuheng help Yingluo to secretly visit the Empress, but will her secret meetings be discovered? The Emperor is busy trying to deal with the floods and manage the kingdom.

Someone try to frame Yinglou for using a voodoo curse. Yuan Chunwan enlists the help of Fu-hung to try and rescue Yingluo. Fu-hung make a tough decision.

Consort Chun finally understands why Fuhang has never acknowledged her. Consort Xian deals with the problem at the workshop and also gives some advice to Consort Chun. The Empress finally wakes up. Yuan Chunwang explains to Yingluo how he ended up in the Forbidden Kingdom.

Erching and Fuhang get married. Yingluo is allowed to visit the Empress if she follows the Emperor's grueling task.

Yingluo goes back to try and help the Empress with her rehabilitation. Fu Heng's career is going well but he seems to be neglecting his marriage which leads to a troubling event with Erching.

Fuheng has strong words for Erqing as he reveals his true feelings. Erqing moves back to the palace with a plan to get close to the Empress.

Erching seizes a chance to extract revenge in a plot against Fuheng. The Empress goes into labor as Mingyu and Yingluo assist the Empress as best they can. News travels around the Forbidden City but not everyone is happy about the new situation.

The Empress is heartbroken but the Emperor reminds her of her position and reasonability for the 6 palaces. Yingluo is still set to return to the palace soon and will then discover all the recent events that have taken place in her absence.

Consort Xian gets promoted to become the new Empress. Yingluo is sent out of the Forbidden City to take care of the true Empress's grave. After 2 years, a royal visit to honor her memory takes place.

Yingluo makes a plan to get back to the Forbidden City with the ambition to help Mingyu out of trouble and perhaps find the truth behind what happened to the Empress's son in that fire while she was away. With a possible promotion, a good friend might be lost forever.

Yingluo gets her own palace in the Forbidden City. Her new life as a noble lady begins.

Yingluo soon gets bullied by other noble consorts with more status than her. Yingluo finds a way to deal with this current problem. Fuheng returns from his time in battle to see that not everything in the Forbidden City has stayed the same as before he left.

Yingluo needs to endure rumors spread around the palace to discredit her. Yingluo makes the most of Consort Chun's handwork to gain some favor of her own.

Yingluo uses one of Consort Chun's personal eunuchs against her to make a show for everyone to see during Consort Chun's well organized event. Yingluo and Fuheng meet while attending the remembrance. Noble Lady Jia sets a trap to catch Yingluo and Fuheng together.

Consort Chun orders Yingluo to sew a masterpiece for the Emperor's Mother as a form of bulling and insists it needs to be finished in 1 month. While the Emperor is neglecting Yingluo, he comes to talk with Fuheng during a sparring session to get some answers.

Now, all the Noble Ladies feel Yinglou is very difficult to deal with as she always finds a new way to lure the Emperor to be her company instead of them. Consort Chun tries to explain why the stolen things ended up in the Xu Chu street organized by her. Just as Fuheng thinks things might improve with Erching's behavior, he makes a discovery that shocks him.

Fuheng finally has enough of Erching's wicked and cruel behavior. Yingluo helps the Emperor understand Fuheng and his desired career path better. The Emperor wants to teach Yingluo how to horse ride.

Yingluo believes the horse ridding incident was no accident and asks the Emperor to investigate. The Empress's father's life hangs in the balance.
