It has a really good lore and quite upsetting stories. You can kind of relate to the characters and the anime has a great story and many good action scenes. This is definitely going to be a good anime when finished.

I watch a lot of anime. This has been a real treat to watch. Beautiful animation, compelling characters, and an interesting story. Not a dull moment and no filler episodes. Watch it!

Fire Force is a great anime, though many would disagree, first of all the animation is great, most people jump to conclusions, saying that the fanservice is tasteless simply because it was implemented poorly just once, and I'll try to keep the review short:
The story is nice but definitely has some flaws, most villains are more or less generic but they are interesting, though this is my own opinion. you may find the MC to be less than original, which I agree with, but he definitely is an interesting character at least for me.
now then time for the flaws: the first two episodes were fine but after that it got a bit all over the place, there was barely any proper continuity and some parts felt a bit out of place, though I assure you I have read the manga and such issues will soon be fixed, the first major arc was a bit too fastpaced for it to make much sense, and other than that the show is genuinely fun to watch.

As someone who has always loved and idolised firefighter I throughly enjoyed the anime. The fights are amazing and the story is just as good I would definitely recommended.

So far the anime is really good. Recognize the ending song like crazy thought. Bit to much fan service, pulls down the score some for me.

Story is pretty good. Fight scenes are also good. But whats with the captains of each force :/. why are they most useless characters in the whole series. the whole world is burning but the captains are looking at the glass standing in office :/

I think I'm one of the few people that really don't get the hype around this anime. I absolutely love the opening song, and the concept/plot was really intriguing which encouraged me to watch it in the first place. But watching it... was a bit lacklustre. I wish I could say I like the main characters, but I think the majority of them are mediocre at best. Not only that but the repetitive fan service was overwhelming and made me want to quick the show on multiple occasions. It happened too often and most were not funny at all/ forced humour. I watched it for the action/intense scenes, not for clothes flying off every 5 minutes during a serious fight scene. The female characters all have no substance and are just there to support the male characters and it's pretty sad to watch. It is a shame as I really felt like this show had potential. However, I rated it 6/10 because I think it's too premature to write the anime off too early and I'll give season two a second chance but... I don't have high hopes.

I love the animation and the concept of this show. The character designs and uniforms are awesome, the animation is fluid and gorgeous, and the fight scenes are made interesting by the inclusion of a whole lot of fire. I really like the idea of a society that worships the sun god Sol and has pyrokinetics as well as the problem of the spontaneous combustion epidemic, but I have a hard time getting past both the absolute edginess that they seem to include at random and the constant phenomenon of the female characters having their clothes strategically torn or burned off to be as revealing as possible while still passing censorship. Plus the constant male characters accidentally winding up with their faces shoved into breasts or lifting skirts or walking in on naked women... It makes it feel more like a hentai with extra steps than a truly well thought out anime, and many of the female characters seem to have little personality to make them stand out compared to their male contemporaries. I do not want an intense fight scene to be interrupted multiple times in -one- episode so that the only woman in the scene can have her clothes torn off and have the male character faceplant into her breasts repeatedly. They also made a big show of having one of the male characters kick her for a prolonged period of time, and the top-down over-animated view of her crying really unsettled me because of the angles and the way it seemed to recall some of the less than savory hentai I've stumbled across. I want to know what happens but I'm having a hard time stomaching the constant sexualization of the women in this show.

It does nothing new right? Well My Hero didn't do anything new and it's amazing. Yes this might have a lot of fanservice but it's very tamed. The animation and characters all stand out and I would put this on my top anime of 2019. Give it a chance. It's pretty damn good

The action for this show is on point. Its the sole reason why I checked it out. The animation is rich and really well done. Unfortunately, the pros start and end there. The plot is mediocre and they tried too hard to make the characters unique and just ended up with some really dumb and ridiculous ones.
Then there's so FRICKING much FANSERVICE. I know this is an anime, but half the time it's a girl's clothes falling off because "the laws of gravity don't seem to apply to her". Most if not all the female characters are HEAVILY over sexualised, and usually it wouldn't really bother me, but it's so over done in Fire Force.

Fire Force got me hooked again to anime (after a very big break from it, I might add). There are a couple of fanservice moments but if you focus on the story and the characters' development and tragic pasts, you can actually get to like it. Planning on reading the manga now, since the episodes don't come out subbed fast enough =))

If you love shonen like I do then you will love this anime. It is not boring at all however the story isn't original but is any anime or show ever? It's got The brotherly rival, friendship, to be the greatest - goal, dope action, and of course the harem. Sometimes you just wanna watch something that you love like Naruto,DBZ, & HxH and that's what FireForce does. Although the story isn't quite unique - it's not all the same as each story has it's own quirk. One thing for certain the action segments in this anime are "GODLY" if you have surround sound or 3D headphones make sure to put them on because the audio and music this anime has to offer are on a whole different level than any anime I've ever seen + the visuals are just a bonus a cherry on top if you will.
The author/artist of Soul Eater created FireForce but this time without the wacky and crazy characters that Soul Eater has - this anime appears to be more grounded and if you loved Soul Eater make sure to watch FireForce because they're a couple of references made in this anime from Soul Eater that you will see.
All in all it's a great anime not a sophisticated or very deep kind of one but one that many people who grew up on DBZ and Naruto will come to love.
Last but not least before I make my exit here I just wanna say that... I love how they added break dancing into the Main Character's fighting style as one who used to break dance I instantly fell in love with it I'm not one who usually likes the MC but yeah don't take my word for it, watch it up until episode 5 and if that still hasn't got you reeled In then go on and watch another anime.

There are a lot of Shonen animes, there are some that are good, a lot of them that are bad, and there are of course the ones that are average. Usually, when a Shonen anime is average, we don't really hear about it much. In the case of Fire Force, it was popular and so a lot of people said it was good. But what I found out when I watched it was that this anime is just popular, not good. There is always an unfounded hype around animes that are popular because people have to think the stuff they watch is good. Now I'm not trying to bash people or this anime here. You just need to know that this is not an anime with even a glimpse of what made the great animes like Attack On Titan Or Hunter x Hunter good. It has some character developement and good action scenes with a good animation but the bad elements are so bad that I can't help but not enjoy this. Of course, like its the case with so many animes, the stupid and over the top comedy is such a killer here. The plot almost feels absent at times, and you don't need to be an experienced anime watcher to understand that its a bad thing. This anime is not bad, but its certainly not good either. I certainly do not recommend to watch this anime, its not worth it in my opinion.
This anime is handcrafted differently, must watch, didn't expect much from this but it was nerve wracking do watch this masterpiece I doesn't deserve the hate it gets!

Everything about Fire force is devilishly cool. Cool character design, cool power, cool villains and cool twists. If beautiful animation is your thing, this is a must watch.
9/10
Shinra's family died in a strange fire accident and he got special fire power. 12 years later Shinra joins Special Fire Force Company 8 to become a hero and save others.
The story is based in a post war Tokyo Empire where fire and spontaneous combustion is common. People turns into fire monster and starts attacking blindly. Only force to stop them is the Fire force as most of the fire force staff have some kind of cool fire super power. The story revolves around Shinra and other members of Special Fire Force Company 8. Most of the characters introduced here are well designed and very likable. Each has a unique power which is gorgeously animated. While Shinra goes on with trying to be a hero there is a group of people who are one the move to destroy the Tokyo Empire.
The animation is fantastic. The fight scenes are elaborately choreographed and the animation during the fights are out of this world. This has the best sound design of 2019. Every time Shinra uses his signature move there is this boom like sound which just makes the attack almost 3 dimensional. Voice acting is very well done and fitting to the characters. Loved the story and with second season the story got even better.
For any action anime fans this is a must watch. Season one started with a bang. Amazing character design, breath taking action sequences, out of the world OST and an interesting story with one of the coolest bunch of villains I have seen in a while. Season two takes it all up a notch. What I truly loved about Fire force is how fun it is to watch. This is the best shonen to come after Black clover. Recommended.

Visuals: The animation in "Fire Force" is top-notch, with vibrant colors, fluid movement, and dynamic action sequences. The design of the characters and the fire effects are particularly well-executed, enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal of the show.
Story: The premise of firefighters battling infernals is unique and provides plenty of opportunities for intense action scenes. However, the series also delves into deeper themes such as the nature of heroism, the consequences of power, and the search for truth. While the plot can be somewhat predictable at times, especially in its early episodes, it gradually introduces intriguing mysteries that keep viewers engaged.
Characters: The characters in "Fire Force" are diverse and memorable, each with their own distinct personalities and abilities. Shinra, the protagonist, is determined and courageous, but also struggles with a tragic past and a mysterious connection to the infernals. The supporting cast, including members of Shinra's firefighting squad and other fire force companies, add depth to the story and contribute to its world-building.
Themes: Beyond its flashy battles and supernatural elements, "Fire Force" explores themes of redemption, camaraderie, and the importance of facing one's fears. It also raises questions about the ethics of using power for the greater good and the blurred lines between heroism and vigilantism.
