Twisters (2024)
Incredibly solid and entertaning movie
In a time where we mostly get garbage this movie stands out as something better than the rest.
Overall its well made and there is something for everyone in this movie, there is action, comedy, romance, adventure and a great soundtrack that matches the movie
The actors in the movie all look like they wanted to be in this movie which makes it more enjoyable and the synergy between the lead actors is great.
With all of this said, what stops me from rating this higher than I did is that the scripts feels abit too much non realistic made and is mostly only based on what would look good on the screen. Everything that happens in the movie feels predictable and it feels the movie is missing some twists even tho the name of the is Twisters.
Whiskey Cavalier (2019)
It reeks of potential
Its an enjoyable show and Scott Foley is incredible as first lead
I think the problem with the show is that its just too normal, like it doesnt try to swing outside the box anything and im not sure if thats what TV shows are like in todays world
What i mean is, its an action, romance, comedy tv show but it never tries to swing between 100% comedy, 100% romance and 100% action moments.
Its always an ongoing 33% of each box
I think with Scott Foley as the lead this could have definitly had its Johny English moments with his character like in those movies and it would have been funny as hell but something like that never happens in this show.
Spirited (2022)
Finally a good Will Ferrel Movie
Who would belive a project like this would be perfect for Will but it is, its almost like its written for him.
Will and Ryan can sing yeah I cant belive it either
However, who really shines in this movie is Octavia Spencer whom I would like to also call a main character of this and is so excellent in this that she draws focus from the actual main characters.
Fun for the whole family, great vibe thru out the entire movie, with a message, great written songs and everything is incredibly well performed.
The only bad thing I have to say about this is that it feels abit too long, feels like they could cut of maybe 20mins of it.
The Good Cop (2018)
Great vibe but script needs work
The show have a really different vibe in it compared to todays mainstream thanks to the music, its that 50 - 60s cop kind of vibe which feels really fresh today and it works.
What doesnt work is, after u have watched a few of the episodes you will go like, isnt it wierd that 1 of the main characters of this series just happens to be(or very near it) at every single crime scene WHEN THE ACTUAL CRIME TAKES PLACE in each episode? I mean what are the odds of something like would ever happen?
Other than this, acting overall is great
Tony danza takes first place to me as he play it perfectly and is incredibly entertaning to watch in all the episodes.
Would love to see a season 2.
Enola Holmes 2 (2022)
Phenomenal adventure movie for the entire family
The vibe in this movie is fun and light thru the entire movie and it ends with a strong message aswell.
All this combo mixed with a great musical score results in a perfect balance of comedy, action and adventure
The actors in the movie plays like they all want to be in this film.
Like the actors who are in this film must have had a really good time when they filmed this
It becomes noticible when you watch it and makes it incredibly enjoyable to watch.
I wouldnt want to say any of the actors plays better than the rest, everyone is incredible
Bravo to the caster who have managed to put the right person at the right place thru out the entire movie.
Halo (2022)
The bad sadly outweighs the good
The bad things in this series
1. Its too bloody and raw
There is some really disgusting scenes in the early episodes that I dont understand why even need to be shown
Halo is supposed to have a SCI FI vibe and in sci fi its not supposed to be so focused on gore
2. The asian chick story
I dont understand why this is even in the series, there is splenty of story to tell and there should be more focus on Master Chief.
3. Master Chief spends more time without his helmet then with it on
When I played the Halo games back in the day I dont recall master chief removing his helmet a single time.
In this series however he is basically walking without his helmet 90% of the time and this completely destroys the mysterious Master Chief vibe from the games
4. Too much dialogue and to less fighting scenes
The halo games where a 90% shooter and 10% talking game, this series is completely opposite.
I dont think the series should be 90/10 either way, it would be better as a 50/50 serie
The good things in this series
1. The animations for the "aliens" and master chiefs suit is 100% perfect
Its so perfect I cant even belive people managed to do this.
Top Gun: Maverick (2022)
It looks incredible but is trying to please the audience a little too much
This movie will totaly blow you away, all the scenes in the movie looks incredible and all the actors that is part of this movie is perfect
Its an inrcedibly profesional made film
I have some points that I felt stopped from giving this movie a 10/10
1. The first scenes in the movie I dont understand why it even needs to be in the movie, the scenes with the super airplane flying mach 10.
It feels like there could have just been a shorter intro to let Mav get back to top gun.
2. After this the movie for a long time feels right on point until u arrive at the scene where Mav and Rooster gets shot down.
When this happens the movie loses its realism characteristics that it has built up thru out the entire movie as 2 people behind enemy lines, just got shot down, with no injuries run around a military base stealing a F14 who just also happend to be exactly there and not destroyed.
I understand sometimes things just gotta happen for a movie because F14 is iconic but I was really hoping they would have done a different approach to get it into the film.
3. The best song from top gun 1 was Cheap tricks Mighty wings. However they never used it in this film and god there was so many times in the movie it would have matched perfectly to take this movie to the next level.
Other than this, bravo to everyone involved in making this movie .It blows away everything else that hits the theaters now a days.
Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)
Boring childish theme ruins the entire movie
The movie feels like an insult to the characters in the movie and I dont know how if the actors even know what they signed up on doing
Its an insult to the other Thor movies and I cant believe Taika Waititi even gets to do movies.
Is this movie targeted for 6 year olds?
Its just boring childish jokes replayed over and over.
After I heard the goat scream the 10th time I left the cinema and I cant belive I payed money to see this disgrace of a movie
I hope this Taika waititi hype era comes to an end soon
The characters/actors in the movie are great and I feel like they could probably ditch Taika and remake the movie into a movie actually worthful to watch.
Spin Me Round (2022)
Absolute garbage, save yourself the time
I thought this would be a funny comedy movie but it just a wierd wannabe horror bad and over used sex jokes movie that I cant even belive was made.
Didnt laugh a single time, had to fast forward it after 15min because it was so boring and it never got better.
Obi-Wan Kenobi (2022)
I really want to like it but I cant, its complete garbage
I feel bad for Ewan whos grand return to Obi Wan was gonna be spectacular but the truth is the script and the production of this show is a disgrace and it completely lacks any Star Wars vibe at all connected to the original movies.
It feels like a wierd sci fi serie that for some reason have Obi wan and Vader in it.
I hope they remake this show and let George Lucas instead create everything.
Obi Wan deserves better.
Non-Stop (2014)
Im impressed how thrilling this thriller was
Except for a few bad looking things in the game, like
how they are boarding a 747 but then the airplane is a 767
the name Aquaatlantic
the final crash landing scene
While the story itself feels abit lame at times, the movie is really suspenseful from start to finish and it makes a great job trying to deceive the viewer.
The Adam Project (2022)
High Quality Netflix Movie
I think the movie would feel a lot more serious and better if they toned down Ryan Reynolds witty attitude on screen
In the movie since there are 2 versions of the same character it gets too much.
Reynolds is a great actor but his signature wittines just doesnt fit too well in all movies
Other than this I feel the movie could have had an original theme song to it that would have really lifted the movie as the movie had a few perfect spots that did contain music but it was just some random meh songs imo
Last thing, they should have cut the movie where the 2 adams and their dad played catch together in which the adams disapeared.
Would have been what I call a perfect ending. The scenes after it didnt have to be in the film.
The Matrix Resurrections (2021)
feels like a extremely low quality version of matrix
Not sure how anyone would be on board to do this movie, the script is trash
The only good thing about the movie is that u get to see neo and trinity together again.
Dont watch this movie if u like matrix, ending it with nr 3 is completely fine.
The Age of Adaline (2015)
Perfect cuddle movie
One of those movie u wanna watch cuddled up in bed together with someone you love
I really enjoyed harrison ford in this movie, I was suprised when he turned up. Its rare to see him in a non lead role and it was really working
With this said the movie felt really well casted in all roles
Last thing, I feel the movie missed out on a (in my world) perfect ending...
Thru out the movie it was repeated that Adaline didnt wanna be photographed so in the end scene where Ellis, Adaline and Fleeming were together there was a small clip of a camera seen and i ultimately assumed now Adaline would her self ask flemming to take a picture of Adaline and Ellis together. But it never happend.
Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts (2022)
Perfect
I thought this was gonna be a 20min show of some behind the scenes clips I had already seen online but holy moly this is a emotional tribute like never before seen due to the shareing of the persons involved in it
I have nothing bad to say about it, thanks to all actors and directors who wanted to in it and share their experiences.
Don't Look Up (2021)
You have to understand america in order to like this movie and if u do, this is a great movie
Im not american and the people i watched this movie with arent americans either. What differs me from the rest of my friends group is that the last years ive followed whats going on in america thru media a lot and because of this the movie hits absolutely perfect.
Everyone else thought this was rubbish and I had to explain that the real sad part is that this is basicaly what USA is
I would say that the movie has a great message that I really hope more americans sees clearly while also giving small hints of making fun of mostly the trump administration but also generally all politics in USA.
I dont like Jonah Hills role because it just feels like for some reason he has to be in this movie completely without script. All other roles feels natural but this one feel way to odd
Great ending song by Bon Iver.
No Time to Die (2021)
I feel like this would be a 10/10 movie if Hans zimmer would compose the music, then I saw that he did
I dont have anything bad to say about the movies story, acting and everything.
It was phenonemal
Watching it u kinda understood why craig decided to do 1 more movie instead of ending it with spectre
Thru out the movie I kept feeling that the music in this movie could be a lot better, with a fresh made theme song like the movie inception or batman had it would have made this movie 10/10.
It was all just a bunch of remixes on old bond sounds
After the movie ended i googled and saw that hans zimmer did infact score this and now im here head scratching why it did not feel like it.
Free Guy (2021)
The greatness of the film is in the depth of the story
When the movie starts ure like oh no another movie where reynold is gonna voice over the entire movie like deadpool and then 10mins in you start to wonder if Michael bay directed this or not..
However mid thru the movie u start to notice that this is not a bay movie nor is it deadpool. This is something else...
The writing of the movie is absolutely phenomenal and thats where I have to give the first cred
The movie was commercialised as a shallow action kind of movie centered around Ryan Reynolds but thats not what the movie really is
The real main characters of this film is Joe Keery and Jodie Comer and they both play absolutely phenomenal in this movie.
The last thing I have to say about the film is that they should have put the ending of the movie in the scene where Millie and Keys went in to kiss on the street. It would gave the movie an absolutely perfect ending,10/10
But they didnt and instead played a few more minutes of reynolds tries to be funny and therefor I cant but give the movie a 9/10 instead.
Jungle Cruise (2021)
Most underrated adventure movie ive ever seen
I had to come back and edit my review after seeing this film 7 times.
Absoultely phenomenal movie.
Tenet (2020)
Huge Potential movie that got ruined by the audio mix
I cant figure out how the hell the audio mix passed the screen tests of this. Did Nolan want to try something different?
Movies in which you have to increase volume on your TV when they speak and decrease it when the action starts I thought was something of the past until I saw this movie
On top of this, if we talk about Inception for abit, I belive a reason Inception was so succesful because it had a themed track which people loved that synergized with the movie done. This one did not it was just a lot of what I would call torture sounds playing. No melody or vibe feeling at all
Fix the audio mix and let Zimmer score this with a "themed" kind of track and it would have the same rating as Inception
Thing ive learned from this movie is how much the audio and music matters because when its bad the entire film is ruined
Project Power (2020)
Really solid Netflix movie
Really supprised that this is a netflix project
The only thing I didnt like was the scenes where it didnt look like there was a proffesional camera used.
There was a scene which was filmed on a phone and a few scenes from surveilance camera angles. It made the movie lose its seriousness feeling imo
Jamie foxx is great in this and the girl who plays Robin aswell
6 Underground (2019)
Well its a Michael Bay movie, what do u expect
This move is basically just made up of different Heist Missions from the video game GTA 5 played after each other without something clear storywise to connect them all together.
To top all of this off Michael Bay tries to make every scene look as cool as possible by having the movie play in Slow Motion every chance it gets
There is def a deeper story there but the movie only scratches on the surface and instead wants to imprese the aduience by what are supposed to be funny one liners and showing cool stunts and blowing up as much as possible
It feels abit unclear if this movie is just somekind of parody or not because it feels like it at times even tho it doesnt say its a comedy movie on the IMDB Page
If your looking for something cool to have on in the background while youre doing something else then this is the movie youre looking for
Midsommar (2019)
Extremely weird, even for Swedes
If you saw this movie and wonder what the hell u just saw all I can do as a Swede is to apologize for all of us
Even for me as a Swede this movie is extremely confusing and disturbing
Personally why I I don't rate this movie higher than a 3 is because the movie didnt feel thrilling at all
Its basically 2h 30m drawn out gore and disturbing frames which could have been made shorter
With that said there is definitely a movie to be made from this script idea but this doesn't seem like the right one
Acting was great tho, the only good thing
