On Patrol: Live (2022)
Kept the formula
Good show, happy to see it has made it back on the air after getting "woke" to an early demise. Thankfully they kept the formula from the first incarnation (Live PD).....and that's a good thing. Highly entertaining, we cringe if the criminals run and get away...then cheer out loud when they get taken down. It definitely illustrates what an unpredictable and often dangerous job the officers have to do. I've read the reviews bad-mouthing the police for "going after minor offenses". They are comical. The same cop-hating / rule of law-hating individuals that I hope to see get tazed or dog-bit on a weekly basis!
The Trial of the Chicago 7 (2020)
I'm sure the TRUTH is somewhere in the middle.
I won't base my review on political beliefs. Despite it being overly left-leaning, I was entertained and Mark Rylance was fantastic. It's not historically accurate (but that won't stop most viewers from taking it as factual). I'm sure the truth is somewhere in the middle. It's worth a watch!
No Safe Spaces (2019)
REAL people will love it
REAL people will love it. Critics hate it, which pretty much tells you everything! A funny, scary, insightful look at what the woke culture is doing to the country. Need to keep the adults in charge or we will be in trouble.
Anima (2019)
Interesting
Interesting visuals, interesting choreography, interesting music, I was thoroughly entertained.
BlacKkKlansman (2018)
A mediocre cartoon
I was entertained by the story and the performances. However it was soooo cliché that it became cartoonish. I would love to have seen a more realistic adaptation of this true story with these same actors and without the over the top caricatures.
