At SHED RAIN, innovation is our middle name, so, it's an honor to support 15-year-old inventor, Nathaniel Wellen, in bringing his dual-handle umbrella idea to life. From the Invention Convention Worldwide to landing a deal with Robert Herjavec on Shark Tank ABC, SHED RAIN has proudly made 15-year-old Nathaniel Wellen's prototype dreams a reality. What started as a father-son project between Nathaniel and his dad using a selfie stick as the primary handle mechanism, grew into a fully operational product. The Duo by SHED RAIN is the brainwork of two family businesses coming together to create one awesome umbrella innovation. Nathaniel began working with SHED RAIN in 2022 to fine-tune his prototype. After roughly two years of product evolution plus an incredible opportunity to partner with Robert to power our manufacturing and distribution, we’re proud to announce that The Duo by SHED RAIN is now available for pre-order at SHEDRAIN.com.

Our first initiative is to erect an Aqua Tower in a community that is local to one of our factories. Today, December 1st, a tower will be assembled at Tien Hung B Primary School in the Vietnam province of Binh Phuoc. This tower will serve as a source of clean drinking water and a handwashing facility for up to 1,800 people, as well as provide water for sanitization of school latrines with chlorinated water to improve overall health. We are honored to play one small part in supporting the efforts of Planet Water in bringing a basic need to those who need it most.
